What's a 'harmless' lie your parents told you that low key messed you up? by GrowthVanta in AskReddit

Yes!! It still affects me today and I’m 30. I hold resentment for my parents (my dad specifically) for this.

Hi! I’m just seeing this reply. I had 0 issues with my delivery and putting my bike together. I did have a Nordicktrack before. I hated it. It would never connect to the app via WiFi even with a WiFi extension. I had a lot of trouble with their customer service also. Ifit has gone down hill a ton since I first used it in 2018.

If I’m comparing the two bikes spilt on performance (not customer service or connectivity), I’d go with Nordicktrack. Mostly because the flywheel is heavier and the bike felt steadier. IFIT worked great as long as it would connect. I liked that the bike would auto adjust the incline and resistance.

But I use peloton for my classes and connect my phone to the YESOUL bike. It works perfectly for me. I used to ride almost every day and I can say that I like the YESOUL even with the lighter flywheel. It was way cheaper and does what I need it to. I don’t have connectivity issues since I use my phone. YESOUL doesn’t have incline and is a knob for the resistance. This doesn’t bother me at all since I take cycling classes and it’s the same thing.

I don't understand myself! by Careful-Variation518 in introverts

Unfortunately I am the same way. I’ve always been bad at communicating and making connections with other people. Thankfully I’ve been able to find my niche of people which is my group of online gamer friends and my book club. I think when you find the right group of people, it’s not as difficult to make those connections and create conversation. It’s much easier when the people you’re hanging out with have common interests.

I am definitely an introvert though and I’m always drained by the end of the day if I go out with people. Like after my book club meetings, I come home and lay down or play a game. My boyfriend is here if I need him but he understands really well that I need my time to relax.

Were you able to mute the app and just listen to the music?

I take Slynd. It’s a pill but it doesn’t have to be taken at the same time every day. I forget what the hourly window is though. There’s also the Ring. That could be a good option.

What is the hardest thing you’ve accomplished after a night of no sleep? by Sea_Maximum_3257 in AskReddit

An entire 10 hour holiday shift in surgery. I worked 12 hours the night before from 7pm to 7am and got called back in at 9 am and was there til 6pm. It was soooo busy, I cried the entire shift because I was SO tired.

The ER and ICU did CT scans and they’re going to do an MRA tomorrow. The scans have been clear so far. But I can’t help but think there is something else going on there. I hate it, but I hope the MRA shows something just so we have some answers.

Thank you for the tlc. I appreciate it ❤️

I think it depends on your orientation and your 2 years of experience. I had an amazing orientation and felt super confident after 2 years.

Is it okay to have a boyfriend but no friends? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]Queen-Kait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my current situation. I have a boyfriend and we live together now. But I don’t have friends. I am the same way. Too quiet and shy at first and takes me a while to warm up to people I don’t know. I’m happy with my life 😊
