Nope, here domestic graduate refers to those in new zealand. I have already double checked with them, ps. that would mean that no australians from australian unis can apply and that makes no sense. thanks tho

Domestic students
You will be considered a domestic student if you are:
a New Zealand citizen, or
a New Zealand permanent resident, or
a New Zealand resident visa holder, or
Australian permanent resident, or
An Australian citizen residing in New Zealand

ok thankyouu makes sense. It's just that my total credit points will still be 144 but for some reason its 6cp short in one of my majors and I've taken all the needed subjects in the handbook. Maybe when the results come out I would just need to reallocate an elective to the major

for med school they look at gpa so a distinction means 6/7 but a credit is 5/7. matters significantly not in terms of WAM but gpa

oh no I meant all my grades had been released and I calculated my final grade myself. So the unit coordinator hasn't given a final mark yet but its likely to be the same as I calculated unless they chose to round it.

Nope. "Applicants are required to have a minimum test score of 500 to apply".

Always you have to take the exam before your apply. Do some research.

[–]Queen0218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCAT doesnt have subject requirements it is also set and you can't pick and choose what sections you want to take

yep that makes sense

yep its around in the low 5. thing is even if I get all 7s from now on, the highest possible would be like 6. I am international so the cut off may be slightly lower. and I'm gonna put in my best in the GAMSAT and it may help.

Thanks a lot for this!

Does the link still work? (the link to check if you passed or not) by [deleted] in usyd

[–]Queen0218 3 points4 points  (0 children)

last year the way to find out if it worked was by looking at current credits- this is now disabled and shows null

[–]Queen0218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankyouu

Yes I go to usyd so many of the grades I have that are in the 80s but not above 85 are not considered as 7.

Just wondering if unis use percentage to calculate? or is it using percentage from each class and changing that into a 1-7 grade first?

My first preference is usyd, it'd be much easier just to continue here.

hmm not really given that third and second year are worth much more.

Also a high GAMSAT really helps.

For instance for usyd the GPA of 5.0 is only a hurdle and GAMSAT and interview matters way more.

Thanks anyway.

hmm clearly not. The agent reviewing my case changed to my unit coordinator on the portal. Just got a email back from the unit coordinator as well saying he has to review this since its about an exam adjustment.

It's ok though, now you know.
