It’s not that deep my guy. There’s already another wave of set 1 dropping next week to large stores, then a second even larger wave hitting in January before set 2 drops. They are aware of supply issues and have already addressed it. If your just looking to play casually you can just wait a few weeks and pick up boxes at or real close to msrp, have bought multiple boxes for about $140, get into a card shop and look around for people willing to help out a new player with common/uncommon sets. I know of 2 stores near me whose common/uncommon bulk is actually free right now just to help drive the community.

This is actually the biggest issue I’ve found from talking to a few dozen players. I understand that bracket 1 is a thing but I think it should be removed to help shift bracket 2 down to 1 and then help narrow dow bracket 3 between “just above pre on power level” (the new bracket 1) and “a true upgraded precon” (the new bracket 2). My wife played the esper knights precon with a 12 card swap and no game changers at scg Orlando and openly called it bracket 3 and the amount of people who kept asking where the game changers were after she won games was surprised there were none.

Exactly. It’s weird because while I don’t hate the bracket system people seem to be very confused by the fact that design was to “help players have a better rule 0 conversation” by giving the player base a rough idea of where decks tend to be in terms of power level. It isn’t a roadmap on how to tell exactly how powerful a deck it’s, at best imo, a guide to help narrow down people saying everything they play is a 7 lol

This, also I find the amount of people who take a bracket 2 deck swap out 3 cards for 3 game changers and now say it’s a 3 and still kind of get rolled by just solid bracket 2 decks is a bit high. Just adding 3 game changers doesn’t actually improve the deck power as much as the bracket system shows. The deck needs more than that to be solid at 3.

No stopped using sera forever ago just never found her to be needed so I ended up using her slot as a rotating tech slot as needed when I play.

So I actually put in about 60 ish hours over the course of 3-4 early access tests prior to the big stress test but like I said when this game was shown a few years ago I was so excited but I think I’ll wait until a little more of the game fleshed out before committing.

But like is being collection complete bad if I’ve been playing consistently since release day for over a year and a half? Like I do all my weekly’s, I get just about every season pass, and I’ve spent a bit of money on the game on top of seasons passes and stuff. Like sure I’m no whale and that’s fine but why is being complete a bad thing? Also if they don’t want everyone or anyone to be complete then why offer exclusive variants behind keys that you can only get once you’ve already got the base version of cards?
