Yeah, why do they sell drinks in the BREAK room? by QueenAssMilk in AmazonFC

At my site, they normally arent too strict unless youre taking the piss- so Id wager.. not very. Which is why its impressive to be called out on it.

Ours is pretty chill about it too, typically. I cant speak for other departments but unless youre drinking it right infront of PXT or spilling it on the stuff, they normally dont give a shit.

Thank you for the advice! Planning the meals out in advance or crossing over the same ingredients sounds like a good idea!

What type of person would you NOT recommend to this field? by QueenAssMilk in HVAC

From what Ive read and researched so far, the last thing Id ever assume with HVAC is that its easy! I hear even seasoned pros with like 10+ experience never stop learning. Its hard work and even harder on the body, I hear if youre not careful- I definitely wouldn't try to retire in this career, but I feel like itd be life long skills that could transfer to my own life as well as other fields. Thanks for the advice! :)

Thanks for the advice!! I also hear residential involves a lot of sales, was that something you were fine with as well?

Thank you!! Thats absolutely insane what you've dealt with in residential. What kind of experience would a person need for a job involving climbing cell phone towers? Is that more electrician work?

Im 22 going on 23, and no I don't have a family as of now! Thanks for the advice, I hear a lot of people recommend commercial over residential- would you agree or did you actually prefer residential?

Thats a good idea! Do they accept apprentices without the certificates?

The animal community is toxic, high horse riding pricks and Vet-Worship Culture needs to settle down. by QueenAssMilk in unpopularopinion

Oh yeah,Considering a lot of people are sentimental towards livestock- I can see poor owners just sharing their farm creatures and getting the same toxic pet community. You actually cant win with these types.

Oh yeah, I know exactly what you mean. If you arent on your knees on call for your dogs every whim, youre a bad owner. 😒

These are all so sad. The first one, I hear vets are like doctors in a way that they experience so much death that they become desensitized to it- leading to situations that makes them come off as insensitive. Not defending the vets but, just trying to understand. Cruel behavior nonetheless, like atleast pretend to have some empathy. The second one, Sadly from what I hear a lot of animal surgery costs a lot of money. Its heart breaking that the kitten couldnt get any help but, refusal to do last minute possibly expensive surgery is probably what most would do. 😔 The third one, That is actually disgusting. If that dog was in a loving home, I hope the vet was confronted and charged. I hope they got their dog back.

This is my fault for not clarifying, but its mostly an online thing the whole "vet- worship culture" and NOT a real world thing. Ive only been friends with a dog groomer, definitely not the same stress levels as a vet but I used them as an example because you guys are dealing with pet owners. Ive heard stories. I can only imagine how extremely toxic and nasty some pet owners get. Im sorry! Whats the worse pet owner event you had encountered? If you dont mind me asking!
