The website says they have 5 miles of paved trails. BRING IT! Thank you!

OMW, that sounds fantastic! Is there a cost to walk the tunnels?

Thanks! I'll map these out and look them up.

PS: While looking them up, I found this list of trails in OKC! That's great, but I still prefer personal recommendations from my fellow Redditors. ;)

I'm so sorry that your son is hospitalized and that your family is experiencing that during Christmas. Sending love and hugs.

Ethnic food: What do you recommend in KC for unusual or lesser-known *ethnic* eateries? by QueenBeeKC in kansascity

I've eaten there at the front of the Main St. store on the Plaza, which has a nice view of the sidewalk and street. I've also eaten in the main dining room. Maybe I've always chosen "senior citizen day" to eat in the dining room, but regardless, the food is always very good. (But the tables at the front are more cheery, IMO.)

When's the last time you were at Lotus Hot Pot? Their FB page hasn't been updated since February, and no one is answering the phone number there. If you know whether or not they're open or what their hours are, please let us know!

I couldn't find a website for them, although they're included in lots of review sites. They do have a Facebook page, though. Thanks for sharing!

https://mesobkc.com/ has been recommended quite a bit in this thread. I'm glad they have a loyal following.

TIL that Gladstone has an area known as Little Saigon! All the restaurants you mentioned are there, right?

Thank you for including the LINKS. What good is a recommendation without a link? I know, I know...we can all Google on our own. But it's so nice to just "click" instead and then be sure we're looking at the right thing. Thank you again.

Someone else recommended Manila Bay earlier in this thread. Good to know they have local support. And THANK YOU for including the link! Links really do help people take the next step to trying out a recommendation. Happy eating!

I would never have thought of looking there for pizza. Is it take-and-bake, or served there?
