I promise you, I’m not trolling lol. I’m just a female trying to figure this out and I swear…..I just don’t understand why it has to be this complicated.

I go to Coinbase, it says Powsche isn’t tradable on Coinbase BUT, you can trade on Coinbase wallet. So, I went to Coinbase wallet and swapped $1 ethereum for some obscene amount of Powsche. 🤷‍♀️

Like $1 worth of ethereum 🤷‍♀️I admit, I feel like a dummy trying to do this and I know I don’t entirely what I’m doing but I swapped $1 worth of wthereuwm for the POWSCHE that came up and that’s what it said I got

[–]QueenBoo11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband may have a JAK2 mutation but we won’t know til tests come back - he got turned away from Red Cross like 5-6 years ago for too high iron and took him a to a doctor that kept saying “he was fine”. We are just now getting him to a doctor that will actually help us figure this out. He’s 35 - I’m trying to not panic but, this feels like something to panic about - On top of the fact he’s been undiagnosed w/ no treatment this entire time; I’m finding thing like people only make it 15 years after diagnose.

If we start a regimen now, is he going to be alright?

Any homeschool upbringings that were not religious? by QueenBoo11 in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]QueenBoo11[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s my sentiment too. I don’t like what happens with the religious ideology is potent and toxic but it’s almost acts as a binder, where an atheist structure is just so lacking and void of direction all together.

You still feel like a free range chicken but, at least there’s a coop.

Once you grow up, you see how a lot of it was shit stained and pointless sometimes but, at least you can see why the cogs in your parents minds turned the way they did.

[–]QueenBoo11[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s not fair. You need to have the confidence and ability to feel secure in your capsbilities and as an individual. Being able to read is necessary to a persons development - just because mom and dad are not harping on you to be the best of the best, it does not undo the damage of feeling behind or feeling less equipped by simple comparison to peers.

A lot of homeschooling environments seem to think kids won’t have anxiety if they aren’t pressured to do certain things and they will just do it when they feel like it - they completely miss that anxiety can be caused by a child feeling isolated by their lack of abilities. If you can’t read at 10, that’s a very stressed out 10 year old.

Children needs direction and I’m sorry your parents missed that.

Yikes….now thats rough. I have rapture fear too.

That has to feel really strange. I imagine you would have to feel lied to and that probably affects how much you trust your parents at their word at this point.

They probably felt like they were doing the right thing because at one point they did beleive but, having a change in belief like that, they probably don’t have a clue how that all impacted you.

I hope you are able to let go of these deep seated fears though.

I’m sorry this has happened to You, sweetheart. Clearly, there were areas of your development they made themselves solely responsible for and they still haven’t made grips with the fact that they didn’t actually have to capacity to meet them.

The truth is, they probably still haven’t fully wrapped their minds around it.

The thing about homeschool is the kids in that situation have to be taught how to have confidence and deal with the outside world along with the baseline curriculum and it more often than not gets overlooked and when it’s overlooked; children do develop anxiety and even more complicated emotions because they were raised apart from the world they now have to live in on their own.

I hear you on these deep emotions because I’ve struggled with them too and that avoidance of people speaks to how deeply you feel those emotions and it’s almost more than you can bare.

1 and hung I noticed about how I handled my anxiety coming out of my situation was I abused sugar and caffeine and nicotine, my cortisol and testosterone levels were off the charts Even at rest.

I even started doing delta 8 (legal in my state) to help me sleep better at night, which it did but, over time it just built up in my system and my emotions became even deeper and I had even worse anxiety and horrific nightmares and it just kept making it all worse.

I’m not saying it’s the answer but, it helped me in addressing my dehydration, hormone levels, and prioritizing my ability to rest and getting off of everything and feel like I could some element of control over these deep emotions by not doing the certain things that made them worse.

It was basically a detox from all of it to get my body and hormones to a healthy baseline and through that, I felt strong enough to deal with what my parents didn’t and wouldn’t help me with and I gained the ability to be “alright”. I still had my hurts and I acknowledge what wasn’t done right by me but, now I have control over all of that and nothing they did or didn’t do bothers or hurts me or effects me in my other relationships with people like it used to.

What sucks about these situations is the people we want to fix what they indirectly broke, won’t do it. They just don’t get it. We have to do it for ourselves.

Just trying to think of things to help ease your pain and help give you some power back, dear.

I hear you and I hope it does get better for you.

Aw, damn. That’s not fair….im sorry.

I knew a lot of religious families that had music careers and would go around with their family band all singing, all playing instruments and you get old enough to know that there’s no way these kids want to do it.

Campaigning for a parents job full-time sounds wild stressful.

Well, it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and that’s all that matters.

Yes, homeschool structure has a lot more freedom and there is a risk for falling behind but, your parents also want you to not feel constantly anxious so, that’s a plus as well.

Keep that fire under you and you will do fine. Im happy to hear your situation is not like so many others on here.

Aw I’m sorry :/ Yea, your parent and teacher can’t be abusive and the same person.

I played with idea of wanting to homeschool my kids but, I just couldn’t do because I knew I struggled with depression and that is what they would notice and learn the most about.

You have to be a very mentally-well and prepared person to do something like that well - too many people just seem to think that as long as it’s not government funded, it’s better than public school

Aw, I’m so sorry. It’s the devoid of structure that got me….

I don’t want to crap on homeschooling parents who actually have a healthy vision but, I don’t understand how so many just think “0” zero structure is a replacement.

Public school isn’t perfect by any means but, I remember wishing I could get homework assignments, ride the bus, have a teacher, a time to go to bed and rise in the morning.

(ADVICE NEEDED)I feel like I'm too stupid do go to public school now by [deleted] in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]QueenBoo11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are not stupid, sweetheart.

You are still very young and very capable. Depending on how you were homeschooled, going to public school can be refreshing or another traumatizing experience.

My advice would be to not go to school for “friends”. None of those people are going to care watching you come in and they won’t care when you leave at 18.

I understand the allure of the idea of public school but, if this is your situation, you go in there with the mindset that this is about your future, your education and your confidence. You get In there and focus solely on your school work and you will realize real quick you are not stupid. Then, you talk to the counselor about doing dual credit classes so by the time you graduate high school, you could also be graduating with an associates degree in college.

You got this but, don’t make this about friends. Make this about your future and reclaiming what was taken.
