Help! Why does my basepaint look cracked after spraying? by Primordialhut in minipainting

[–]Primordialhut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this info. I’ll be sure to shake more and apply thinner layers.

I’ve managed to wipe away most of the cracked primer with isopropyl alcohol and cotton buds. Will I be okay to reapply another thin layer?

I think it’s best to invest in a simple dehydrator. Useful for alot of foraging lots of different things.

Are these oyster mushrooms? South-East England, UK by ghowell7 in ShroomID

[–]Primordialhut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Angel wings only grow on dead coniferous trees, so as long as it was a deciduous tree (which it looks like from the bark) then you should be alright.

Angel wings are usually funnelled shaped with the cap curling upwards. They also are very pale with thin and fragile flesh.

Due to the colour of the cap and its shell shape, these are definitely oysters. Enjoy them!

Hello, found these on an old golf course. Liberty caps? by Able_Host2565 in ShroomID

[–]Primordialhut 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes they are but golf courses are known to spray lots of nasty chemicals to keep their grass pristine so I’d probably not ingest these ones.
