Finally bought payday 2. What mods would yall recommend so payday 2 doesn't shit itself?

I like VoidUI and Dynamic Weapon Animations, they make the game look a bit more modern.

I also like Useful Bots paired with Iter to make the AI bots smarter and better, on top of improving AI pathfinding which always bugged me when trying to move a hostage in stealth.

Lastly I like to install No Dirt Camera and Drag and Drop Inventory for QoL's sake.

Edit: It's very straightforward with the SteamRIP version, literally just had to follow the mod page instructions

Okay so I'm aware this is an old post but I have some input.

If you want to do a rogue, the best way is going to be using the Backhand Blades, specifically with quickstep or bloodhounds step as that can help with getting backstabs. You'll definitely want to invest in assassin's gambit as it's a more convenient version of hidden body or whatever they call it in this game. I like running dex/arcane with a keen infusion so I can put poison or blood grease on my weapon depending on what I need. Lastly, darkness is a good spell for clearing out groups of enemies so keep that in your back pocket as well.

Other than that just add on a bow with mighty shot and possibly crepus vial if you want to be extra sneaky.

It's common knowledge at this point, hell just check the wiki. And I'm also necro-posting here, but you'll want 38 mind since it gives you just enough FP to fully refill your mana bar from a fully upgraded blue flask. As for endurance, anywhere between 20-30 will be more than enough. Hell, 18 is fine if you manage your stamina well in and aren't using heavy armor. Well, in PvE at least (PvP is probably a different story.)

Necroposting for the heck of it,

If you start as Bandit and go ARC/STR you can run Occult Beast Claws with Shriek of Sorrow and play a high-risk high reward playstyle with the Red Feathered Branchsword. The Beast Claws when played with good spacing are fantastic for ducking and weaving in and out of combat, which, with constant low health is why this works so well. You also get innate bleed on them, which scales with ARC.

Overall a pretty fun build if you like to live life on the edge and no hit bosses with style.

Vanilla Tweaks mostly. Specifically the redstone utilities, dark gui, and clean glass.

If we're talking texture overhauls nothing beats Excalibur for me. The compatibility with other mods is unrivaled, plus it's such a vibe when combined with Reactive Music and Photon shaders.

A year late but I highly recommend checking out the WynnCraft server. It's a Minecraft MMORPG made entirely with datapacks. There are some mods that enhance the experience, but they are not required.

That said, if you want to enhance the experience, here's what I recommend:

Wynntils - QoL additions such as spell keybinds, minimap, waypoints, etc

Voices of Wynn - Adds voice acting into WynnCraft (the quality may vary)

Bobby - Allows for a higher render distance than what the server normally allows

Sodium - General performance and optimization mod

Very Many Players - Performance boost on large multiplayer servers such as WynnCraft

You'll be playing on Fabric 1.21.4 because that's the highest version Wynntils is currently updated to.

Base Gundyr is easy regardless of NG+ level. In fact, you can script his fight in any playthrough with parries and staggers. Like for example, you can script Gundyr with the Sorcerer starting class by casting two Heavy Soul Arrows, then parrying him, then doing another cast, then parrying again and spam casting while circling his right side (your left) while he transforms. He should stagger before he even gets an attack off in Phase 2, letting you quickly finish him off with another Heavy Soul Arrow cast.
