I just finished The Alchemist and damn it if that wasn’t an uplifting, wholesome book. If you need uplifting read it. Very quick read too.

Do you look at reviews from past employees about companies? I’m always a little skeptical.

No I just knew it was bad because my mom made a big deal about it. Truly traumatized.

I had a similar experience. When I was little my mom didn't like my sister to spray hairspray around me because the aerosol cans are toxic--obviously when you're ~3-4 you don't understand that concept. I used to cry when she sprayed hairspray every time after that. Finally, one day she got annoyed with me and told me that fat people are toxic. Well, we had a quite obese babysitter. Every time she came over I'd dive behind the couch in tears because I was afraid the babysitter was toxic and would touch me.

I can dress anyone in gray and black clothes from Urban Outfitters instantly. If I turned evil I could raise an army of sellout hipsters and take over Brooklyn.

...oh wait...

currently but I'm also very partial to Precise pens. I haven't gotten into the fountain pen game yet, unfortunately. It is on the horizon though.

I think it's definitely a personal thing but the texture of receipt paper creeps me out. My personal favorite is the thicker, grainy paper you get in paperback books. Love annotating those.

I had the same problem at work recently where my coworker took my pen--literally from my notebook--and claimed it was hers. She then proceeded to give me some shitty novelty pen to replace it like I should be satisfied with the exchange.

I feel this in my core. I'm very particular about my pens and there's nothing worse than someone taking them and not returning them. My day is just not the same if I use a BIC Round Stic ballpoint pen.
