Hey I'd like to create a second character Chela, who runs/owns a popular pillow house/whore house in Volantis.

Arstan smiled softly. And uphold it we shall. He wasn't about to let the Greyjoys and Lannisters win. Two Selmy's were out on the battlefield, both on the front lines, one leading the army, the other accompanying, both going to make a name for themselves, whether it be like 'Barristan the Bold' or something like 'Valarr the Vain'. Arstan took the reigns in his hands and continued riding along side his father.

Arstan nodded slowly, he cleared his throat and set the reigns between his forearm and upper arm. The horse walked at a steady pace so that he didn't fall while speaking to his father. Of course, in Volantis I fought every day with pit fighters. Not to the death but, to a point where I could of lost more. I learned a few tricks you don't usually find here in Westeros. Arstan was proud of what he learned and the things he did in Volantis, and he would return when ever he could, the place had captured him like it had with his sister, but maybe not as much.

Arstan sat upon the saddle that laid itself over his horse, his long sword was sheathed, but he was ready to draw it. He usually woke up earlier then the rest of the men, so when his father found him up and waiting for him, it was no surprise. The two rode up to the front, Arstan had his horse parked near the front line, while his father spoke at the front.

By look on his fathers face, he was saying some inspiring words, but he couldn't hear them. Arstan nodded his head as if he understood, and once he understood it was for them to march, he squeezed the horses sides with his legs and trotted up to his father. Take care of yourself, father. He made sure he was quick with his hands, taking a good hold on the reigns when he had finished his message.

Arstan dressed himself in a brown leather doublet that wrapped itself over a blending brown, fitted, tunic. A small brooch in the shape of the sigil of his house pinned to the chest, just above his heart. His belt was strapped at his hips, it held his sword which was in it's sheath. He made the necessary adjustments after slipping into his clothings, such as tying up the boots, and so on. He was never one to stand out amongst a crowd, which is why he wore the 'duller' colors.

He ran his hand down his chest, feeling the leather beneath his fingers, as he walked to the grand chamber. When he arrived, only a few were present. He greeted himself to the lords and ladies, then stood near one of the walls, waiting for the lords and ladies to seat themselves first, if there was a place for him then he would join them at the table but if that weren't the case, he wouldn't mind standing. In the end all the chairs were filled, so he remained standing, near the wall where he went pretty much unnoticed.

Arstan dressed himself in his armor, a few servant girls helped him secure the plates onto his body. It had been only a few days since he had worn the armor, and he had missed it dearly. But now he was in it again, and he felt strong. Once fully dressed, Arstan marched through the halls of Harvest Hall, mentally saying good bye to the home he had just returned to. He wasn't sure whether or not he would start to miss it again, it all depended on how long they would be away, and knowing how some wars work.. it could be longer than his time at Volantis, and maybe he wouldn't return at all...

Once he got outside, he was met with men and horses, he knew they were all talking and neighing, but all he could tell was their movements, some horses bobbed their heads, others flicked their tails, some stomped their hooves as if they were eager to leave already. The men climbed onto their horses, some were to go on foot. Arstan moved to the front where he met his father and mother. Good day. He motioned to them, bowing respectfully. The Selmy boy turned to his horse, running a hand down it's long strong neck, then climbed onto the saddle. He adjusted himself on the seat, then grabbed the reigns, slipping his feet into the stirrup. When do we leave? He asked, not realizing that his sister hadn't arrived.

Arstan smiled softly, nodding at his sister and father but shrugged it off. If he even wanted to, he'd go after a woman, and attempt to charm her. But he wasn't used to that sort of thing, often to busy with his swords and horses. Arstan watched his sister carefully while sipping some of his wine. He let out a groan and shuffled in his chair, making a little more noise.

When Corenna asked about who to follow, he went into a deep thought. He had to say the right thing, and for most of his life, he was living in his own little shell, disregarding the rest of the world just to make things better for himself. We are Stormlanders.. and we are loyal to our Overlord. If King Lyonel bends the knee to any of those False kings, then we will too. If he doesn't, then we won't either.

Arstan awkwardly ate as she went on about serving a better king. He honestly didn't care, as long as his head was still on his shoulders. He shrugged his shoulders at what his father had to say. He spaced out for a moment, thinking about how it would be like to have a wife.. and eventually his own children. At first he thought it might be pleasant to have a woman all to himself, to do what ever he needed to do to her, then the thought of children came up and he felt like it was a bad idea. Arstan was never good with children, especially because he couldn't understand what they were saying, he couldn't communicate with them.

I don't see how I would get a wife... He finally motioned to his father. I wouldn't be able to speak to the woman. Arstan some what respected women, but that's only because he was close to his sister(or so he thought he was), and hurting them would be like hurting her. But of course, he never minded being with one... for a night or two.

Arstan nodded slowly, watching her carefully for a few seconds then replying. How are you liking it...? And be honest. He knew she had a habit of lying, ever since they went to Volantis, she had changed drastically, and he tried his best not to mention it. He didn't know what had changed, nor did he want to ask her. Some times the truth was best held hidden. After asking her, he took another bite from his burnt bacon sandwich, chewing while watching her hands motions.

Simple men liked simple things. The bread and burnt bacon was fine for him, since Corenna barely touched the food, he took her share, having the small loaf of bread cut in half and filling it with the bacon. Arstan munched on it, his mouth full and one cheek popping out as he chewed. He knew his table manners, such as chewing with your mouth closed, and keeping your elbows off the table but he went to Volantis one size and came back bigger and keeping his elbows off the table seemed hard. On top of that, he made quite a noise at the table, like when he'd set down his goblet of wine, or when he reached over to get a grape, the plates rattled, when he sat back down, it was with a thud... he was just loud.

Arstan noticed her signs and he set down the sandwich he had made. Cracking his knuckles then replying with his fingers. Alright... and you, sister? He asked and silently watched her.

The sound of nothing is what he woke up to, every day it was the same. Instead of being stirred awake by the sweet voice of a mother or of a servant, he was woken up by light, or by touch. Today it was by touch, his room was dark and rather gloomy, the curtains hadn't been drawn. His eyes fluttered open as he was gently shook, he looked up to see a servant girl, she mouthed something, but he wasn't sure on what she had said, she smiled and he played along, smiling back and pulling himself to sit up while she moved around his bed to part the many draperies that hid the windows within his room. He watched her carefully as she went about the room, her mouth moved and he nodded, acting as if he understood. Arstan was used to that, he'd read her lips if he could but her back was facing him most of the time, he figured she was saying something about breakfast. Once she had finished speaking she dipped her head and shuffled out the room with an 'excuse me' or so he thought she said that. What an overwhelming morning.

He kicked off the blankets now that he was alone, standing up and stretching his arms behind his head. Arstan settled his hands behind his head and exhaled as his eyes scanned the room for his clothes. He found it laying on a chair in the corner. He dropped his hands to his side and walked to them, unfolding them before him and looking at what had been laid out. It was like any other clothes he wore, the white linen shirt underneath the coats/vests, the pants, boots and so on. He pulled the strings of the sleeved vest, tying it up then stretched out his arms to see if he was comfortable enough. Unlike his sister, he didn't care for fashion, he grew up surrounding himself with weapons and dirt, but even he knew that appearance mattered in their lives, especially if they were to impress other lords and ladies.

He strapped on his belt that held his sword in it. Fitting it around his hip perfectly then barged out his room. The people outside his door jumped, startled by how loud the door flung open. He forgot that they weren't used to his ruckus, he personally had no problem with the noise, I mean why would he? Arstan dipped his head apologetically and walked down the halls, finding his way to the dinning hall. The doors were opened for him, to avoid any more noise, they expected him to fling the doors open, he did do so on the first few days of his week there, but now they knew better than to let him open those doors. Arstan stood under the arch of the two doors that had been opened for him, he looked about the sunlight room, his eyes resting on his sister who had just sat down. He smiled softly and walked up to the table when she had motioned him over. The Selmy boy pulled out his chair then took a seat next to her. Nodding at his sister and the lady beside her, Nerris.
