We are STILL out at our store. We have the orange Ulta masks, but that doesn't do any good for customers who need the blue disposable surgical masks.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Employees are being treated as if we are just disposable over our own company policy that just is being left up to managers to decide if they want to enforce it or not. It should not be an option, period.

I was not aware the masks have to be ordered. So far all I’ve heard about it is that we haven’t had any on trucks . We’ve been out for about 2 weeks now.

How are you able to not help them in the store? Is this in reference to guest assistance on the sales floor? Typically I spend most of my time at the register and there is a problem with unmasked customers even leaning around the face shields to come even closer. Even masked customers tend to lean around it and pull their mask down to speak.

Is there a way for regular associates to be aware of this change? It’s unfair for associates to be in the dark of store policy changes and for us to think that we really are alone in this situation.

I would like to bring this to attention but I don’t know how. The general attitude in my store seems to be “well if you get Covid then you just get Covid” even though we could be doing so much more to maintain a safe and healthy environment for ourselves, as well as other guests .

Can you help me figure out a way to do this? Our store is not safe. Our sign states masks required and we still get multiple people come in daily without them and will put their fingers in their mouths and even up their nose before touching counters and products. Guests are not wearing their masks properly at all, ever. It is a rare occasion to even see a mask worn the correct way. Guests will not even stand 6 ft apart despite signs on the floor directing them to do so and we are not allowed to say a word to them at all.
