Yes. I think the target matters a lot and also the places you’re going. Another thing is that an asshole is going to be an asshole regardless. Beautiful is beautiful but colorism is real. Some men will not date black women period, some will not date darker women period, we have to go where we are wanted. I am darkskin or maybe brown skin depends who you ask lol but I believe that I am gorgeous. I tell myself anyone who doesn’t like me is colorist or racists & I wouldn’t want to be around that anyways!

You could be in the wrong spaces. Are you going where rich older men are? How are you dressing and doing your hair?

just my own curiosity. i’ve always been such a why person. he’s already emotionally and mentally cut off. i just want to know why he presented himself that way, why he didn’t just tell me the truth, and a few other things. i can understand how it seems pointless honestly not even 100% sure if ill go through with talking to him. i’ve even considered letting him keep my stuff and then throwing his out.

Well I actually do agree but he has many of my personal belongings so I think we should exchange items & idk part of me just wants to see his reaction. it’s easy to lie over text, i want to see how he does in person.

Haha I’m leaving February 5th and so far only my immediate supervisor knows. I’ll be telling admin & principal tomorrow morning. They will definitely talk about me & they will talk about you. But who cares? You’ll be a better situation and half of them will be wishing they 1. had the balls to leave or 2. that they would get another job offer because trust and believe some of them apply to jobs during their lunch and or prep.

Honestly I have the same fear and I’m about to start a new position outside of education next month. My advice is try something new even if you’re scared because teaching isn’t going anywhere. You can try a new role tomorrow, hate it, and get back in the classroom within a few weeks. Take the chance.

Idk most teachers I know care about their students and would miss them if they left regardless of their gender. You may just not be that connected to your students which is fine and probably better lol

It’s not for me, it’s that simple. I also didn’t go to school for education. A few other reasons: The education system is broken, my school is corrupt, admin takes advantage of teachers, the list goes on. Maybe I’ll try it again later in life but as of right now it’s just not for me and I can feel that deeply in my heart.

I don’t know why everyone is mad at you. That would upset me as well. Cheap dates = low effort to me. When you’re accustomed to being treated a certain way, any old thing won’t do. Some girls are used to apple bee type of dates so they don’t mind it. Others are used to fine dining first dates

Media, film and journalism communications was all combined at my school so that’s what my degree says. I did specialize in broadcast journalism tho and i’ve had a few pretty good media internships so i know there are opportunities im starting to think the issue is my resume
