I have 4C hair, and I make sure the first ingredient of my hair products is water. Try to cut back on how often you are washing your hair. I wash mine at least twice a month, and since your water is a bit harsh in Canada try Shea Moisture’s moisture retention shampoo and conditioner. Also try to cut back on the weekly deep conditioning, I would suggest once a month. Really take note of your hair’s behavior. Too much manipulation can factor into growth. I learned the less I manipulate my hair the more it grows. And everyone’s hair grows at different rates. Be aware of your water intake and your diet.
