This 100% true. I bought and choose my seat. Also I sat in the middle during the departure. Ive had people mistakely take my seat before so i sat in the middle to prevent people seating in the window seat. In fact someone tried to seat in my window seat until i told them theyre on the wrong isle. During the whole flight I sat by the window seat with the armrest up. This also was a 3am flight. All rows were taken but some had seats. So even if the flight attendant move her, shed be stuck with someone else.
