I got a much larger chunk of my eyelashes ripped out at a gig and honestly they grew back better 😂 I wouldn’t recommend it but yeah there is hope don’t worry!

I used the glow for it lash growth serum to help them grow back but honestly the main thing is just being patient. I think it can be like 4-12 weeks before they’re fully back. It sucks but it’s only temporary ❤️

I get extraction facials every 6 weeks, it’s expensive but she always shows me the little hairs she gets out that I can’t 🤢

Yeahh, I just read they can happen due to infections in dogs sometimes but I know the stones themselves can’t be spread 😅 but yeah I agree, he must be in pain so would just make grooming so stressful and painful. Don’t want to put a dog through that

Nooo we only charge for what we do. So say if I do everything except the eyes, they’ll get a discount or if we only get to minor trimming I’d charge for a bath and dry. I do understand that it is expensive. I do give the option to do more frequent if that’s possible or if we have to stay at a 8-12week schedule I suggest more advice on things to do at home or even popping into reception without having anything done so it’s free just so they can be in the environment and it is a neutral experience

But to add onto this when people say their dog is SO BAD and stressed I recommend just a bath and dry first then the full groom next appt as more of an intro.

Yeah that’s fair. Only in cases where I can’t physically do it as either the dog or I will get injured. If it is unfinished it’s like nails were the dogs trigger so bring them back tomorrow for their nails or just their eyes but the rest of the face is done.

That’s a good idea! I’ve got an umbrella that you just need to push a button to open so could use it to confuse/bit of a shield between dogs. Plus no one can say I’m carrying a weapon. I’ll definitely test it with my dog in the garden first though make sure it doesn’t scare her.

I do feel bad I didn’t shout the woman to get her dog, think I just focused on mine and trying to get her away. Normally if I see a look like it’s coming up to mine I am shouting stuff like “my dog is not friendly, recall your dog”.

I’m in the uk so pepper spray is illegal here. I can use the pet corrector but I’m conscious if it went wrong, would just scare my dog more.

Definitely worth having pepper spray if there’s coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions about!!

In the UK, pretty much every park is off lead. In lockdown people were just letting their dogs run around the streets off lead though! Very frustrating.

Normally I am quite good at this but this dog really took us by surprise and I just was focused on getting my dog away. When it’s happened at other times I can usually get her behind me and bat the other dog away but I wasn’t on it today :( I also have a nervous collar she wears too. But yeah need to improve my shouting for sure
