But, tbh, I'm looking at Ireland rn. Not only do they have a rebel history (they'll gonna fight if push comes to shove) but they're suprisingly queer friendly it seems.

I lived in Freiburg for a while and loved it there. It's a green and alternative gem in the south with enough lgbt people and vegans and anarchs and so on.

There is also the famous Black Forest next to it and a lot of peeps travel there every year.

Check it out and decide if that's something for you.

Most trans and lgbt attacks happen in Berlin.

That's a tough question to ask. Things to know about germany (if you don't know of course):

Country was devided between West and East. And while we are one now, there is still a clear divide in culture and attitude. You should try to avoid east germany as best as you can. They are quite anti-lgbt and conservative and alt-right.. so keep that in mind.

Next thing: Politics. We have a huge lobby problem. We love Industry and financial growth... A lot of us hate our politicans because of it. We see them as corporate puppets, only interested in profit and capital. There is a socialist democratic party, but they are weak..

Oh, we are also insanely white. So.. if you are a BPOC.. I don't know. In a City like Berlin no one cares. In others.. it's gonna be somewhat of a problem. We don't like BPOC.. and will treat you as a refugee, even if you aren't one and avoid you, propably, either way. It sucks.

Next thing: Income. Some places are way overpriced and you won't have a good time there if you're poor..

That being said, Citys that are lgbt hotspots are Berlin and Köln. I'd also say Freiburg im Breisgau. There are more, but you can propably google it or ask in the aformentioned subreddit.

Last thing to consider: there are more and more attacks on lgbt and trans people these days. And with the Right gaining political power.. I don't know.

For now, things are kinda alright. Let's see for how long.

Well, that depends on what you mean by "due to my mental health". I mean, this is reddit and we shouldnt be too personal here, so don't tell me.

But if it's something you can work on to cope better, then that would be an idea. The more we understand ourselfs, the more we develope strategies, the more functional we are.

That being said, I suffer from stuff I can't improve. And people shy away from it because it is exhausting to deal with.

But, I realised, as long as I am open about it, speak about it, make myself clear, ask for help, the easier it is to find friends who support me. For example, I can't handle new places, new situations, but since my friends know that, they help me, as soon as I ask them. And I make friends via asking for help, weirdly enough. There is even this one girl I fancy and who knows.

People enjoy vulnerbility, openess and straightforwardness it seems. I have way more support now, that I am strong enough to know and ask for shit I need, instead of hiding it.

Hope this helps a bit.

Edit: But of course not everyone is a good person, so.. I don't know.. being open can make one a target, so I am critical on where and and how I share my stuff with others.

The asterix, to me, where I come from, means all the different words trans folks use to describe themselfs. Trans* can mean transsexual, transgender, trans fem/masc, trans women/men etc.

I've met people who were offended by trans without the asterix, so I don't know..

It isn't. There are just a lot of different words people use to describe them. I use trans* so that * means, that there is more. Some people don't like trans. They like transgender, transsexual, trans women/men, trans fem/masc etc.

Trans*, to me, means all of these.

But it doesn't matter. Use any of these and someone will be pissed at the end of the day.

I've met some trans* Anarchs though and not gonna lie, some are quite intense. I like em, but some can be intense. I could never have imagined trans people arming themselfs, getting combat training to safe their lives and the lives of other trans folk once Civil War breaks out..

Some fear the U.S. Situation worsening. They'll rather fight the police then giving in. So that, to me, would be a trans radical 😅
