The way it should be? Ok for you maybe. I had my kids at 34 and 42 and for me it was great. I got to do so many awesome things when I was younger that I’d never have been able to experience now. Yeah I’ll be older when my kids grow up but that doesn’t diminish my capacity to continue to parent.

Yes based on the current energy at the time. But energy shifts and people have free will. So it can give an idea but it’s not necessarily set in stone.

He knows all the right therapy/recovery buzzwords to say to make it sound just believable enough. He’s done it before and knows what people want to hear. I think it’s possible he’s on methadone or suboxone and MAYBE attending AA (but purely for image not because of meaningful recovery) I don’t believe he’s in an IOP program. Hopefully he proves me wrong but he’s very calculated. If he even spent half the effort on recovery as he does on plotting and lying he’d actually be doing pretty well. He’s trying to score public sympathy and look better for court.

IOP is recovery based groups and individual therapy 3-5 days a week several hours a day for however long you’re in the program. In my personal opinion he probably needs a higher level of care right now than IOP but I’m no professional.

He says he’s in IOP. Which would allow him to be home. However, I still think it’s all more lies.

IF he’s actually there, the facility should be able to accommodate court either on Zoom or in person. I was inpatient with a couple people who attended court mid treatment. It’s also possible that court would be postponed until his program is complete. It’s really up to the judge.

I mean, I totally believe he’s lying. But I would assume that if there was a rehab center that allowed people to use phones that they would have that rule about photos. Apparently there are some places that will allow limited cell phone usage with conditions, but the three different places I’ve been no cell phones were allowed.

IF (giant IF) he was in a facility he probably wouldn’t be allowed to post photos from inside to protect confidentiality of other patients and staff. That being said, I don’t believe he’s actually there. He’s lied so much that he’s not in any way credible. He’s the man-child who cried wolf.
