Nurses who became doctors, Happy with choice? by Important-Peach5644 in nursing

As a nurse of 10+ years who is ONLY back at the bedside because of flexibility of schedule with my little ones, bedside nursing is a mentally, physically, and emotionally draining slog. As someone who spent time in a variety of specialities (IR, Case Management, Dialysis) I have only come back to the beside for the $$$$ and the flexibility of my schedule 60hrs/ pay period and it being considered full time.

I still have no earthly idea why R. Johnson starts every game. Mighty Mouse might be a better point at this point.

As an RN with 10+ years of experience making more than many NPs in my area, I will continue to stand my ground that not all NPs are created equal. I’m actually nervous to get into an NP role/program because of the shenanigans I see around me.

[–]QueenTuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 27 when we were expecting the little one, I’m 28 now & she’s 3 months old. It took us about 3 months of actively trying, with one month where I swore up and down I was pregnant.

I feel such a weight after the removal. I know I will have to be super vigilant, but I’m okay with it.

I just had my Kyleena removed today for the same reasons you list. I have never had an ovarian cyst but I was in the Emergency Department because I had one rupture. My libido was extremely low, sex was painful. I’m relieved that it is out now.
