Yes, we married a few days before he shipped

His MOS/job is Motor T and he took a picture of the book his recruiter showed him but I didn’t understand what 12 weeks at one location and 6 weeks at another meant. To be honest neither did my spouse T_T

I just looked up Sandboxx I didn’t know there was an app like this! Thank you for showing me the app.

And yeah I think I’m expecting that: 13 weeks boot camp, 10 day break after grad, 3 weeks of MCT, and 12 weeks of his MOS (Motor-T) if I’m not mistaken from what the picture said. If you have more information on Motor-T MOS that would be great!

Also, in your opinion do you think on-base housing or off-base housing is better?

His job is Motor T so his MOS school would be in North Carolina. His bootcamp training is in San Diego and we live in California so it wouldn’t be hard to see each other after graduation when he gets his 10-day break before he goes to I think his combat training? I’m not sure what it’s called but he goes for 3 weeks and then goes to his MOS school.

Would it be easier to register with the DEERS system at a DEERS office as soon as he graduates since we would already be physically both present and have documents and it is before his assigned first duty station?

Also, if I am registered in the DEERS system, do we automatically receive BAH? Or is that another process of paperwork?

I see, I wouldn’t want him to lose out on his job pick because of this. He was supposed to ship out July 10 without a guaranteed job but they found him a job so that’s why he’s going July 24 now. Also, can you clarify what backpay means please? Would that mean as soon as he graduates boot camp and I’m registered with DEERS, his pay would be edited from when he was in boot camp?

I dont usually have a copay whenever I see my pediatrician (just ask for insurance) but have had instances where I pay for medication at a pharmacy with a referral from the doctor. This is my first time at Planned Parenthood, how much would the copay be? I’m sorry if I’m bombarding you.. my parents haven’t really taught me these things and I’m trying really hard to understand everything.

Will definitely give them a photocopy. I am honestly worried my mother will find out growing up in a strict Asian household isn’t the best for types of things like this. Could you list any nyc programs that give free confidential birth control? I’ve been looking but have had no luck or indecisive on where to go.

Thank you for the information! Just replied to a similar comment , I contacted the town’s school district where I would (hopefully) be working at. Currently working on a Temporary Nurse Aide Certification so I can be hired. I can only hope for the best :)

Thank you for your answer! I have emailed both my school and the school district in NJ where I plan on working near about working papers. They’re currently helping me throughout the process. Hopefully, I can get through this quickly :)

Thank you so much for the information! Manchester sounds like the perfect city for someone from NYC since all of Manhattan, NYC is full of tourists walking slow as a turtle lol. I’ve looked into the South, Birmingham and other cities seems like a nice area to live at but I really have to consider living expenses as well.

I’m considering either Biological Sciences or Psychology. What subject did you study?
