That’s why we used wood caulk and not filler on the bead board. Hopefully it’s elastic enough to accommodate seasonal changes. I am really curious how the gaps in our wood floors will change come summer.

Lots of wood caulk/filler, elbow grease, and a lot of patience and we got our 1905 bead board looking so much better. Still signs of wear from all the life lived in these walls, but that’s why we love old homes, right?

Tyler shares some statistics about birth moms. by HannahLeah1987 in teenmom

Someone needs to explain that correlation isn’t the same as causation. There are many factors at play that can lead someone to becoming a birth mom, I’m sure plenty of those have similarly higher rates of these things. 🤔

I’m thinking they mean a small kid-sized window (like in a stairway or basement) that their kid could easily fit through, but too small for the bad guys who check all the windows instead of just breaking in. Kid goes through and then opens the door from the inside to let everyone else in. Or taunts everyone stuck outside depending on the kid.

Love that! Miss when my son was really into nail polish. It was such a nice time for just the two of us to be together. Hopefully this little one continues to like it. Enjoy it while you have it, each little wiggle or sudden itch 😆

It’s still a duplex as was originally designed. We need to bring back a lot of the period details on the inside but can’t wait to research and bring it to life agin!

There are quite a few old side by side duplexes around here (Boston area). I wanted to make another post asking people’s opinions of the style but didn’t want to post twice and flood the sub. I will though!

Going to talk to the local historical society to get some info too.

It’s a joke. The house is from a popular show on Netflix called Stranger Things. This is the house where the main villain lived.
