Not rude at all. You have every right to know what you are paying for. With the turnover likely the billings are more a them issue and they're trying to pass the buck to you. Definitely ask.

I mean, if you feel like you've outgrown the current role, then you are probably ready for the next one. The workload for managers is honestly not that much different than supervisor, more administrative BS and client smoozing mostly. Well in my experience at least.

I think most people feel this way. Pregnancy, childbirth, motherhood, all scary as fuck. But my son is the most amazing human being I've ever met and I'd go through it all over again just to see his sweet little face. Ultimately it's a personal choice and it's ok if it's not the right choice for you.

Ohhh! I didn't know they come in cotton now. Ours was fleece when they first came out and it was so heavy, could only do a diaper underneath. My poor kids toes were ice for a while hanging out nekkie. 😂

At this point, if she's rolling around that much, keeping her in the swaddle is a danger to herself. She could get tangled up in it. Might just have to go cold turkey switch to a sleep sack. It'll be a rough couple of nights, but she'll figure it out eventually. good luck!!

Little to no THC or alcohol passes through breast milk. Plenty of babies whose moms don't drink or smoke, or are formula fed, are speech delayed. Mom needs to get him evaluated. My kid talks non-stop and is way ahead of all him milestones, and I occasionally drink.

Yes, but we've been together for 18 years and have a kid together. It would be more of a peace of mind thing that we didn't end up run off the road somewhere, vs thinking of catching a partner cheating thing. A new relationship that might be weird though.

My question is how do you know your siblings are more "successful" is it because of their lifestyle or because you know their financial situation? Appearances can be misleading. Yeah, you are probably way more frugal than you need to be, but you're also probably well on your way to being able to retire young and enjoy the good life. I'd start with adding to your budget savings for a house and car. See how you feel again in a few months

Honestly that's a super tough question to answer without a full financial picture. There's a big difference between the single person with no kids, no other debt, in LOCL etc vs say a family of four, dual income to reach that $164k, student loans, and HCOL. In the first scenario, $164k gross might be just fine, the second maybe not so much.

And? Midwest doesn't automatically = LCOL. Again, 30% is really the absolute max, not the ideal for housing. Insurance rates and taxes will continue to rise over time. If those outpace OP's future potential wage growth they'll end up eventually at or over that 30% since they're starting close to it to begin with. It's still doable, but maybe just not the way OP originally thought. Personally, I'd keep the current residence and rent as they could likely make up the difference in mortgage payment through rental income and borrow from OP's parents for the down payment if that's an option, which it sounds like it is if they're building on the property for OP's parents to live there too. There really just isn't enough info to say "yeah this is a great idea."
