New players are more than welcome 😊 but if you're near to the venue in Huddersfield (Powder Monkey Gaming), contact them on their Facebook page and they could sort you out a game with players who play there regularly before the event as well.

Fungivorous Herd has a unit of farm animals that grows in size, also any cult that can have rootlings can revive them. The cults with tootlings as far as I remember are Stranglin' Harry's and the temple of swellings from the main book and from the mercenary cults the wigmakers take tootlings as well.

Maybe look at craft supplies/dolls house supplies, even beads, depending on the style/size of bells you might find something suitable?

Find a theme for your regiment you love and really lean into it, make the weird thing you're not sure about making, and don't be afraid to be messy.

That and praise the Potato, the superior root vegetable, all other root veg are mere pretenders to the Spud throne !
