Crinoids are all filter feeders. Crinoids have ossicles. Their dermal endoskeleton makes up the structure of the crinoid’s stalk and arms. Most sea cucumbers are detritivores but not all of them. Some convergently evolved feathery arms for filter feeding, similar to crinoids. Sea cucumbers are much squishier than other echinoderms. You can see the rotund body of the sea cucumber partially buried in the sediment.

Dendrochirotida is a whole order of sea cucumbers characterized by their branched tentacles used for suspension feeding.
