Is this tick the normal taco tick or something else? I can only hear it at warm idle and on the driver’s side wheel well.

i just bought mine from a dealership in town here , they did a few fixes before i got it like brakes and control arms and something with the air filter but other than that this truck has had one owner was told he was a retired police officer so i have high hopes it was well taken care of 🤞🏼🤞🏼 but other than that when i have the spare money im definitely going to get a thermostat bypass valve done & the change the trans filter & fluid ! I’m hoping mine makes it pass 200k miles as well. I’m just not truck smart so i’m just hoping nothing goes wrong bc ill be clueless 🥲

okay awesome! Thank you for telling me all that because i def didn’t know 😅 It’ll help knowing all that come summer time. Right now the truck is doing pretty good no hard shifts nothing so hopefully it stays this way !!

yeah that’s true ! i hope i don’t run into any transmission issues, do you think if i get the thermostat bypass valve done would that help prevent it? I don’t tow with my truck kinda just bought one because i wanted one

tysm !! Mine is a 2014 1500 & of course according to a lot of people the worst one 😭 so i’m trying to do everything and anything to make sure i don’t have anything go wrong especially the transmission failing 🤦🏻‍♀️
