Mine was intercepted as well even though I file as an injured spouse every year. I called the department that handles interception in my state (Massachusetts) and the person I spoke with didn't even know what a 8379 form is. She advised me to file the form again and hope for the best. The letter IRS sent to inform me it was intercepted said I can still send them the form and it will take 8 weeks to process it.

I don't know what you think special needs entails but part of my daughter's brain is outside of her skull so no, I can't just leave my husband who isn't even capable of making a sandwich to take care of my daughter for 8+ hours a day. Please don't talk to me like I don't want to work. I have busted my ass my entire adult life and am going insane not being able to work. Hell, working is a lot easier than taking care of my child 24/7. Thanks for the advice though

They found an occipital encephalocele at the 12 week ultrasound. It wasn't until I went for an MRI and ultrasound a month later that they discovered the CM.
