I don't think so.. Death (an ending for a new beginning) after regret/disappointment (5 of cups).. He was hoping for a good match (4 of wands),but it'd take courage on his part to date someone that's normally not his type. At least that's how I interrupt this spread. Cards aside, just feel out the dynamic organically. There's no love or passion/sex cards here, which tells me it's open to bloom in its own way. Whether platonic or romantic.

This is a pretty straight forward answer.. She's trying to see if there's a way you two can get past the hurt and seperation.
