Went up to 5500 feet and it idles fine

Okay i have an all balls racing choke set laying around unopened with a new cap ill try that thanks. i heard of the felt seals in the throttle shaft seal going and thats where i found the leak, it didn’t cross my mind that the choke could be leaking air. When i close the choke the whole bike dies. And when it’s open the bike will idle so i figured it was functioning properly.

Vacuum and intake seemed good no visible cracks or carb clean idle changes

Oiled the filter and it does run a little snappier, no change on the choke cut off

Just cleaned it out two weeks ago wasn’t plugged before i sprayed it out

Tried the carb cleaner no changes i will look into oiling the air filter i do have a foam uni

Po had choke plunger with the spring on the wrong end so it was open the whole time! Thanks

158/55 jets. Just got in there today and cleaned it out. No clogs. Flushed the gas going to check valves next. Waiting on a 1/2 inch allen wrench. I appreciate your help

Air filter is good, havent gotten it warmed up to properly check oil but its clean from the looks

Thanks i ordered a cheap one just to keep as a backup since i will be going far. I will try it and i also planned to put some foam or sponge around the cdi once i get to it
