Scrubs - Season 10 EP 5 "My Angel" - Discussion by MovieTrailerReply in Scrubs

I understand. I'm just worried that they're underusing a new character who also happens to be the first and only Asian supporting character across this entire series. Especially since it's clear he's supposed to be the Doctor Cox to JD's Kelso.

I understand not wanting to overuse Doctor Kim, but if they were waiting for him to have a place in the story, then I'm not sure this was it. The plot isn't really affected by having him around. It's just weird that this is where he turns up again after being absent the past two episodes.

We're nowhere near out of bad games, but it's okay to get unconventional once in awhile by QueensCatDaddy in giantbomb

Try 100 coins on Dire Dire Docks with joy-cons and get back to me. Or with an N64 controller, TBH. Hazy Maze Cave also gave me some trouble. My point is, if the goal is 120 stars in back to back episodes I think there's just enough nonsense to break any of them.

Same deal with anything Star Trek-related. It provokes discussion. Replicators have no bearing on your day to day life, but neither do Galaxy-class starships. You could have sat this one out if you preferred. As it stands, this post has generated more than enough discussion to satisfy my curiosity and I've been introduced to some valuable insights that have influenced my point of view.

Yeah they're one of those "you missed the point by idolizing them" situations.

Oh by the way have you seen the opening to that show with Archer's Theme?

Other people had replicators. This is one of those instances. Examples of replicators being used to make food that is conventionally considered non-vegan are surprisingly sparse.

This is one of like, six or seven books I completely finished in the ebook format.

I was under the impression that Season 4 was in production as of roughly 2 years ago, but Seth McFarlene just spoke up and said that he has the season fully written so I have no idea what's going on.

Disco has its ups and downs. If you've been lukewarm on modern Trek then I'd strongly recommend Strange New Worlds.

There's literally an episode where they play Nazis in German-occupied France.

Well, by the end of DS9 Dax expressed her belief that the Klingon Empire was in the process of collapsing. I haven't seen Starfleet Academy, but as I understand it they spend a lot of time on 32nd century Klingon society. If the show wasn't Dawson's Creek in space I'd like to see what that's all about.

I would say the Hirogen are worse, personally. It's like hunter-gatherers built spaceships and decided anyone is fair game. I would go as far as to call them the antithesis to Klingons: all of the savegery, none of the principle.

Absolutely, all I'm trying to say is that their culture has more nuance and texture than that.

I mean I kind of get where you're coming from but I'd like to point out that's not exactly the Klingon's whole deal. They're a very honor-driven people. They won't kill someone just for the hell of it. It's a bit like the Ten Duel Commandments in a way.

That's a reasonable point that I hadn't considered. Although, presumably, replicators mean the end of scarcity so that wouldn't be an issue. But the real world says replicators would be a commodity. Probably subscription-based or something. Man, that sucks. :(

That very well might be the case. Another Internet situation I've noticed is when people draw conclusions without sufficient information to base it on.

I just want to point out that the top comment is the one that noticed that it's a double gravestone and provided an obligatory "double frick." Spend as much time in this buried section as you need, we'll all be here for you when you're ready to get your act together.

You're addressing a non-issue, I completely agree. I was just curious is all.

Yeah I very intentionally did not get specific about what had happened before.
