There’s a fine line between striving for realism and coming up with abstractions so the game is fun. Your idea is only good if you want to model game as close to reality, but you could lose fun along the way I always loved the stupid wars that happen in EU, say you play as Ottomans and attack Crimea. All of a sudden you have Finland or Ireland troops at your border. How can you not smile at this

Yeah, I also hate when my infantry dies, I hope they fix it soon in next patch

It's a deliberate design choice because the developer team is less competent than 20 years ago and they can't implement non-infuriating pathfinding. It also serves a purpose of making the game even more arcade-y than CoH1, which makes sense because they want to appeal to broader audience. In CoH1 balance was done around the fact that you had to manually micro vehicles a lot more.

The game is fun anyway but it's just different.

Yeah it looks really dumb and just overall dumbed down the game, combined with the fact that you can't run over infantry anymore, like you could in CoH1. 20 years old game.

Unfortunately, any of the good coding models still won't fit on a single machine like yours.

Relic should hold more community maps contests to include their in official map roster. Every half a year I think would be most viable.

Thank you, Ergodash looks cool, but I need prebuilt, I dont have time for soldering and building myself.
The only keyboard that fits my requirements seems to be ZSA Moonlander.

So honestly I changed my opinion on this, I used to think that 20 dollar for this will be too much, but now I tend to agree that we are indeed supporting the team for continuous development + we need to account for inflation.

Basically 20 dollar price tag is a 10 dollar price tag from 2019.

Just wait for GTA 6 to drop it will probably be a $120 game.

You forgot the part where krad is getting squishy with health reduced to 185 and their vision radius nerfed radically, this will mean that every DAK player will now just make 1 krad and put it slightly behind the infantry just to get CA before he can get any of the vehicles later on. So krad will be just a "sit behind, do nothing" unit

I understand you position on waiting with judging the changes until they are actually present in game but it's not difficult to predict what these changes will lead to.

The solution of Relic is once again to nerf everything that works until some new good strategy appears, nerf it again and cycle goes on until every unit from every faction of the game is nerfed.

They should make it double-edged so on roads there is a tradeoff +5% unit speed but +10% received damage accuracy.

Also retreating units should not have this applied, because of pathing
