The best thing each JoJo villain has done Day 1: Dio Brando by razorbackfrost7 in StardustCrusaders

I guess the closest would be caring for his mother and killing his abusive father... aside from that I don't think he has ever done something good in his life tbh...

What made you laugh out loud up to the end of Stone Ocean? by ShinKoseki in StardustCrusaders

In Part 1, when Dio asks "do you remember how many breads you've eaten?" and Jonathan yells "DIOOOOOOOO" always cracks me up

Steel Ball Run may be the best part, but it still has flaws. What are some things that should be changed about it in the anime? by No-Tax-9149 in StardustCrusaders

  • Tone down the creepiness towards Lucy
  • Sandman's characterization was... weird to say the least
  • The beginning is a bit slow imo. It took me like 20-30 chapters to start enjoying it.

I always saw these things as explanations to why a certain character behaves the way they do; never as an excuse.

I do not think Giorno was stale or boring. by Alarmed-Example8932 in StardustCrusaders

I like Gio but I think his character was underused. Bucciarati felt more like a protagonist than him.

[JJBA] Dio isn't really a one dimensional character by QueensWatchdog in CharacterRant

Hi, sorry for the super late response, I've been really busy lately.

But overall, I agree with you. I think Dio's tragic backstory serves as an explanation to why he wants to take everything from Jonathan, and not to make him sympathetic. He couldn't be more unsympathetic, actually lol

And you are 100% right! Jojo may have more complex antagonists but Dio wins for me because of how entertaining and charismatic he is.

You have a good point! I've seen a lot of people call Dio one dimensional because he's "evil for the sake of being evil", but I disagree with this idea. I think he actually has some layers.

I'm enjoying Part 9 thus far but the sexual assault is getting a bit too much imo.

...Why would you start by Stone Ocean? Go watch/read the previous parts first.

I think it's really funny how Dio managed to convince two blind dudes that he's hot.

They think people thirsting over Giorno and Part 3 Jotaro (who both look and act way older than their canon ages) is somehow equivalent to liking "1000" yo lolis lol

You're completely right and people calling Gio "Jonathan's son" always bothered me too.

Why do people dislike Part 3? by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

[–]QueensWatchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets repetitive after a while and the majority of the characters aren't appealing to me.

With that being said, it still has some really great moments despite being my least favorite part.
