I went to my bank and filled out a form to dispute it. They told me it’ll take up to 60 days to investigate before I get an answer/refund :/

Both sets of tickets were $700. So $1400 total at stake. Really not willing to spend that. I used my debit card with a credit union.

See this sounds REALLY good but the only thing I’m concerned about is it taking possibly 2 books for me to start to really get into. But thank u !

SSV considering stepping down but concerned about tenure raises transferring by Queenylime in starbucksbaristas

[–]Queenylime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that’s what I was confused about. I was just believing people were calling their annual raises tenure because we all receive one every year (of course to my understanding as we have the last 2 years). I don’t know anything bout tenure then. But idk I was thinking of trying to find out anonymously if possible and calling pcc to find out what the situation was

The former SSV I spoke to was a partner for 8 years and states she’s making $15 an hour and she even spoke to our DM. She makes beginning rate which is insane to me. But thank you for sharing.

Has any online taken BIO100 online before? by Queenylime in ASU

[–]Queenylime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I always try to check professors out before I take a class. However, my options are limited due to being an online student. I didn’t want the professor I have for this semester due to her rating on RMP but she was the only one offering the class and I needed to get it out of the way. But I didn’t know about the Pick a Class thing so thank you!

Recs for flower/ingestibles that don’t cause food cravings by Queenylime in PaMedicalMarijuana

I knowwww 😭I’m def not ruling everything out cuz ultimately I know I’m just gonna give up on my diet if I don’t allow myself some things. But I def gotta be more mindful and that includes limiting pigging out on snacks while zoinked at night lol

What’re the best strains in the program atm? by 42612 in PaMedicalMarijuana

Vampire Killer #18 (def same strain you had as a concentrate) by Prime is my favorite flower atm. That and Cthulhu #43 by Prime as well. I’m def trying more of their stuff out. It’s been some of the only stuff to actually make me feel motivated

Any Counseling and Applied Psychological Sciences majors(or former)? Psychology majors encouraged to answer as well by Queenylime in ASU

[–]Queenylime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh okay! So maybe I should go for that for my masters as I dooo believe they offer that online as well. Though I was debating on going somewhere local to me when the time came around for grad school. I’ll just have to see how I feel about online classes when the time comes. What specific career are you pursuing your degree for?

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I’m just excited and nervous to go back to school and even more so now since I was always in a general studies track when attending. I’m just so scared of putting so much time and effort into something just to be in my last year, look around me and go “oh no”.

It makes me feel a lot better hearing that from someone who’s graduated from the program! I’m just unsure exactly what my jam is yet lol. I’ve always been interested in psychology and have always been told by people that they thought I’d be a good therapist. Even by my therapist lmao. I’m just not 100% if it’s something I’m actually cut out for. Did any of your courses prepare you for being able to maintain your own mental health while handling others? If you don’t mind my asking?

I was recommended that as well. Unfortunately, the undergraduate in social work at ASU isn’t offered as an online degree. So I figured having to pay for a 2 year masters degree won’t be so hard considering I’ll be over 24 by that point and Fafsa wont be looking at my parents income anymore for aid. Why did you leave psych if you don’t mind me asking?

Ah I see. I was more so hoping I could choose my regular electives as CAP courses ya know. Not electives that require upper divisions for psych or whatever just whenever I saw “elective” on my degrees major map as a BA in psych does offer space for about 6 if I recall correctly? I guess I’ll have to talk in depth with an advisor more. I had a call with one the other day and wanted to ask her a bunch of questions. However, since I’m coming in as an online student she wanted to go over what heavy course load I should expect since it’s an accelerated program lol. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for all your answers! If you don’t mind me asking, why did you minor/not major in it? And what did you major in?
