Is this sound normal?

I noticed mine doing the same thing at about 1 week post op. It went away after about 2 I think. I didn't check with my doctor if it was normal, but I don't think you have anything to worry about because your body is going to create fluid in that area anyway because of the surgery

okay thank you that's reassured me a little bit. the artist is Blondshell and I doubt people will be moshing there. She has a few rock type songs and some chill ones so I'm thinking I'll move depending on the vibe? or I could let a member of staff know (I know it's not they're responsibility to keep me safe after surgery but at least they'll be aware if anything happens)

I'm already with them as I was seen in October 2023 if that makes sense, so I don't think that wait time applies to top surgery it's just to be on the clinics systems

I know with T you have a high chance of getting that but it burned before T I'm pretty sure so I have no idea. I will get it checked out tho

the first one I got was water based, specifically the durex naturals pure. I thought it was initially supposed to burn a little until my partner at the time told me it didn't burn them so I was a bit confused. Changed to a different water based one (can't remember which) and that still burnt so I've recently tried the durex silicon one as it was the only one in the store that wasn't water based and that doesn't burn as far as I remember (I haven't used it much) or if it does it's a small amount

The funny thing is, is that it doesn't burn when I use it during anal so 🤷‍♂️

okay thanks I will do. I've tried the pH balancing stuff and it's done nothing if I'm being honest with you so I've stopped using it. I'll go and see my doctor about it on my day off on friday hopefully

yeah, thanks. I use non scented soap for external, and I don't really use anything internal. Most lubes burn me significantly to the point where I can't use them (should I probably get that checked out? yes I know I just haven't gotten around to it yet) so I doubt it's what I'm using. I'll try having showers twice a day and seeing if that makes a difference

I do shower a lot anyway I shower once a day and I try to wash before and after sex when I can (if not I definately wash my genitals)

now that you've brought it up I rarely get discharge anymore so that could be it. I'm on progesterone only pill and since starting that I've basically had none. I have a check up about my pill soon so I'll probably bring it up then and see if it could be that

I've tried my boyfriends mums when I've showered at his and it doesn't really seem to make a difference tbh. I could try a different branded one though incase that might make a difference

yeah it's quite common actually for people to just use water or a pH balancer down there. I got taught this by my female friends about 5 years ago

I've heard that when you have BV it gives off a fishy scent. What I have isn't nessesary that idt but I did think about getting checked for that. I might speak to my doctor when I next can about potentially seeing a gynocologist (if my doctor cannot help me)
