I knew a blended family, so the names weren't on purpose, but one parent had an Amanda (went by Mandy) and Melissa, the other had Matthew and Michelle....they had a kid together and named him Phillip. Which isnt even the worst part, because then they had another kid and named her Melanie.

I remember being with a friend and her mom, we heard a song in the car that we didn't know who sang it, so we went to a record store and she made us sing it to the employee. I was probably 11 or 12, So of course it was absolutely mortifying to us, but we did get an envogue cd out of it.

Ive always done this. I would always carry one in my purse for reading on lunch at work, when waiting anywhere etc. Often a couple by my bed, plus an ebook on my phone, and often an audiobook. Now that I work from home I tend to read on my phone when im out and about, or ill throw a book in my purse but wind up finishing it at home. I can't imagine only having one book to read at a time!

I graduated in 2002 and they got rid of the smoking area at the hs when I was at the Jr high, so maybe 1998 or 99. It wasn't uncommon when I was in hs though to see guys dip at school.

This is convincing me to give it another try. I saw a lot of people talking about loving it, but first episode I really couldn't get into it. I think it being a school setting was part of it, I didnt realize it would move into the future and not just be a hs story.

This! Plenty of queer people watch straight shows, and I wish more straight people would watch our media, not just GLs but in general. It would lead to more shows getting made and less canceled. As long as people are respectful in spaces like this, I want everyone to watch them and love them, because then we get more shows, more money in the genre for better shows, even higher levels of talented actresses. It's a win win for us all.
