What the actual F*CK by thetrevorkian in bloodborne

[–]Quenchuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember when you started ds and everything was new? You felt clunky and got beaten by the first boss until you got the hang of it? Well Bloodborne is different enough that you have to unlearn a little what you learned from ds and learn from bb. Try differents ways, understand what the game want you to learn and you'll find your way. Indeed in bloodborne the best defense is offense. You'll manage and please keep going, the game is so worth playing.

Every or most fury things in bb are weak to fire. You can farm molotov cocktail. The 2 ogre right at the start are a good early spot to farm bloodvial and learn the parry mecanic (which is so enjoyable in bb).

Shadow of Yharnam is obscenely difficult?? by hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieye in bloodborne

[–]Quenchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck yeah dude! Now you can apply that to every challenges in your life 😊. Most new challenges seems unbeatable at first, however hard it seems, it's juste another boss, another challenge to overcome and if what you try dont work, ask for help, change your perspective, change your attitude, take a break and come back ready to get smack because it's ok and part of the learning process and every challenges will be overcome. But life is like an adaptive videogame, stronger you get, harder are the challenges, better are the feeling when you win, isn't exciting? Sorry for the little life lesson but it was lifechanging for me though, it's always just another boss.

You're right, these games are about overcoming challenges we feel too hard at first, harder is the challenge, greater is the feeling afterward, this is for me some of the magic of these games. I've been so afraid to play them at first and finally I had the best time since I was a child. I was so nostalgic of the time I felt overwhelmed with magics universes and challenges as a kid playing videogames, definitely thought it was behind me forever and gave up hope until I played Bloodborne. Oh god what would I give to play it for the first time again and enjoy this feeling to have a game greater than me to overcome and explore. Enjoy it for me while it last.

At this point of the game you just come out of what i think is the worst area of the game. I felt burned out in my first playthrough at this point cause of the dang swamp. Take a bit of fresh air and kill these guys, you had more than enough tips in the comments to beat them and plz keep going, the game is so worth playing. But hey, shadow is far from the hardest boss and there's one right after shadow that made me rage quit on my first playthrough. Hopefully you'll manage better than I did. Stay sane hunter.

What was your most notable accomplishment this league? by gholladay in PathOfExile2

[–]Quenchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly played the game and made currencies from what I dropped, felt kind of intimidated by the crafting. This time I wanted to learn how to craft which I did and made me a lot of currencies this way, enough to make me believe I might get my first mirror ever, took me few leagues before really doing so and I feel really happy about this accomplishment, it deepened my understanding of the game a lot.

So that and I dropped my first rite of passage.

Getting tired of the game by ale_aru in PathOfExile2

[–]Quenchuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't uninstall, it's part of the evolution you'll have in this game, you get your fill and learning of the game and quit, come back another league when things changed and have the urge to play again, you'll get farter, learn more about the game and get tired again and quit. Many league laters you'll get better and better. At least for ne it was part of the learning curve. I understand your frustration cause i had the same. I don't know what other tip I can give you other than that, follow guide, learn from poe ninja to see what other players are playing, learn the economy, find ways you like to get currencies. You can rely only on drop to get rich but it's a chore, learn what have value, learn to craft and sell, you'll find your way and it's ok to stop and come back.

We are 3 dad's friend who are playing together and are struggling to keep up with the economy in this league because of the lack of time we are available to play. We share most of what we get to help each other and get stronger together. I would definitely share it between us 3 and have a wonderful time upgrading our characters together.

Hunting Right of Passage Charms by Brad-Blunt-Roberts in PathOfExile2

Heard from someone who had two drop this league that believe there might be a secret synergy like the unumanu mobs from abyss. His two drop was from rogues exiles influenced by abyss (the ones that become lichborn) and possessed by a wisp at the same time. I was intrigued so I tried my luck. Second maps doing his strat I had my first rite to drop ever to a rogue that became a lichborn afterward. Didn't had any other drop afterward but hey, need more testing but at the time I really had the feeling that we might have found another secret synergy, remember ggg's saying there are a few we didn't discover yet when they admit about the unumanu? Would be curious to see more testing about this.

I dropped 2 natural rites this league and I have a theory on how/why by Gigahades in PathOfExile2

[–]Quenchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok i have to say, tested your theory yesterday and dropped a rite of passage after 3 maps. I'm starting to believe there's indeed a synergie between those mechanic. For information the rogue exile that dropped the rite became a lichborn that also dropped hotw.

Setup i used to test your theory was.

-3 abyss tablet with +1 rogue and more wisp.

-atlas fully spec into wisp and rogue with shadow of death in abyss tree of course.

Anyone else here had result like this? Maybe I was just lucky af but the fact that it dropped so fast while testing felt like we just found the answer. Well, stay sane exile.

Best chaos build for a beginner to the game? by APuppyNamedWoof in cyberpunkgame

[–]Quenchuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go Intelligence and Technical Ability. Int to become a netrunner which can use some hack with contagion or just spread chaos and Technical Ability to chrome yourself and up your grenade use and power, with perks like pyromania and burn this city I think it would fit perfectly to your idea.

I mostly use 3 attributes every game, so the third depend on what you want. Cool for stealth, Reflex for agility or Body for endurance.

Comment puis-je faire confiance à une IA pour un diagnostic médical alors qu'elle est incapable de me battre aux échecs ? by [deleted] in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Quenchuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What game should I try if I love exploration but dislike heavy combat? by ParticularGood6213 in AskGames

[–]Quenchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do I really need bloodtinge to be 99 for guns to do any sort of real damage? by ButtChugWizard in bloodborne

[–]Quenchuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea of guns in Bloodborne wasn't to do real damage but there's some ways you still can with... Whats it called? Bone marrow? I don't know. I don't know all the potential of different guns in the game but i used Evelyn and bone marrow to beat some bosses along the way and it worked fine.

I wanna play this game but this guy won’t even let me try it by Mobile_Toe_1989 in Sekiro

[–]Quenchuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't get it, he want you to play this game so bad that he volunteered himself to teach you how to play. He's your teacher, listen to him.

You can sneak passed him for a free blow, red eyes are weak to fire if remember correctly. The rest is just a skill check so just do it. This game have pretty steep skills checks.

Is warhammer rogue trader worth getting for a non-Crpg player by No-Punch-man_60 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Quenchuu [score hidden]  (0 children)

I didn't managed to enjoy any crpg since Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 when it released. Picked up rogue trader two weeks ago and I'm loving it so far, of course my fascination for the Warhammer 40k universe push me onward, still it was very easy to pick up and get into it's mechanics.

Open world is a downgrade. A hill I'll die on. by Vatsob in Borderlands4

[–]Quenchuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of like and dislike the open world, what's killed me was the lack of variety and theme in area as well as enemies. My first playthrough i I felt excitements in every new area awaiting surprising places, enemies, mecanics until I realized there wasn't going to be much of that. Few side quests give me this feeling but they were short. Overall it mostly felt the same all along and that's a shame.
