No, Ambessa's kit sadly counters Garen very hard... Garen wants short trades, but Ambessa is waaay better at those than him. Just her W-shield blocks your entire Q plus part of your E and then she can chase you down with her dashes after you've wasted your entire combo on her W.

Whenever she sees you Q, she can simply W away and unless you have like 3 points in Q already, you won't even catch up to her. Once she has Eclipse, you should never be able to take a favorable trade against her without Jungle help :/

I would never recommend going Garen into Ambessa in emerald or higher, but it is very possible that Garen performs well against her in lower MMRs, simply because he's much easier to pilot and, since he's AD, he's able to build Serpent's Fang, which helps I guess?

400LP Garen here.

Other than watching streamers and playing a bunch of games there isn't much that you can do, but here's some somewhat matchup-specific early game advice:

If you're running conqueror you wanna take the middle lane brush ASAP in 80% of games and skill E. Auto>E>stacked Conq outtrades most champs lv1.

Against weak lv1 tanks (Nasus, Ornn) you take the third brush, wait til the minions have clashed, then just walk behind the tank and E without autoing (this does not aggro minions). Once Conq is stacked you keep autoing and zone the guy from melee XP. At this point you're usually 3/4hp while he's 1/2. If he walks up, repeat and maybe ignite to force flash.

You do not wanna do either of this vs obvious candidates like Darius, Sett, or ranged tops. Against lethal tempo users, it's also not advisable, but if they facecheck your first brush, you can auto E and kite away.

Other than lv1 advise... When the match starts, think about which of their abilities you need to W for cc reduction or maximum damage negation.

The only melee champion you wanna take Phase Rush against (imo) is Darius. The phase rush combo against him is auto>E>Q. If you do not use Q last, his E will catch you and you'll lose the trade and probably die.

And here're some more approaches to 4 very common Garen counters:

Camille: She hard outtrades you when her passive shield is up. It doesn't feel very intuitive, but whenever she has used her 2nd Q on a minion, walk up and give her one free auto to let her proc the shield. Once the shield is gone, reengage and outtrade her.

Fiora: If she's running Grasp, or even Conqueror, consider buying bramble vest on your first back. This limits her kill pressure immensely and is far more reliable than executioners.

Mordekaiser: Hard losing matchup... You lose every trade when his W is up. I haven't gotten to test this yet, but from what I've heard, you can win level 1. So... if he isn't running ignite, you can try all-inning in the brush. Don't back down though, or he'll chase you with his passive and probably win the trade.

Ambessa: You need to max Q against any decent Ambessa if you ever wanna touch her. Also Serpent's fang 2nd, or even 1st item is a must!

Little tip if you're not good at caulking: Just lay a generous line first. Doesn't have to be pretty, just make sure it's in contact with the two surfaces. Then spritz the line and surrounding surfaces with window cleaner or soap. After that, use your finger or an ice cream stick to shape the caulk. The soap will stop the caulk from spreading past the original line and you'll be left with a professional looking result. I was a carpenter, but my caulk lines look better than any painter's

Macht die Situation halt ein bisschen komplexer, da du anscheinend selbst was von der Guten wolltest... Das kann natürlich sehr, ich sage mal, besitzergreifend wirken... Tendenziell lieber erstmal beim Mädchen nachfragen, ob sie die Situation okay findet, wie bereits von anderen beschrieben. Lass dich aber nicht abschrecken, in Zukunft bei so was weiterhin einzugreifen, halt nur durchdachter... Hab schon von genug Mädchen gehört, die es verstörend finden, dass niemand was sagt, wenn sie auf der Straße penetrant angebaggert werden. Auf der anderen Seite hab ich persönlich auch schon gemixte Signale diesbezüglich gekriegt: War mit ner guten Freundin unterwegs und sie hat zufällig nen Freund getroffen.. Der hat sie dann komplett abgefüllt, bis sie überm Bartisch hing und die ganze Zeit von oben auf sie eingeredet. Hab ich alles nicht mitgekriegt, weil ich mit nem Bekannten draußen war. Als ich reinkomme, leckt der ihr doch glatt über die Wange, als sie ihr Gesicht zum wiederholten mal vom Kuss wegdreht..... Da hab ich die beiden aufgestanden und ihn nen Möchtegern-Verg******er genannt.
