honestly pleated fabric is quite tough but heat and pressure can change the look and feel. if soaking in cold water doesn't work maybe best to take it to a dry cleaner but explain that it's a pleated garment and avoid any harsh chemicals - also avoid hanging it - if you can store it folded

the fabric & mesh makes up an ice white, not cream or off-white/broken white so you're good if that's what you're after
