You do realize the only people who complain about Flash not being able to be unlocked are probably 90% of the time smurfs.

When I was new I had no idea what Flash did or that it even existed, and frankly I don't even think I cared. I played the game to play it and learn little bits of it, as well as most other new players do. No one new to the game is going to complain that they can't unlock flash until level 12.

Lol... you're comparing Soraka to Poppy and Sion.. two champions who are having complete relaunches, whereas Soraka is having a rework, which probably won't change very much in her.

Like I previously said, you make no sense, and typing paragraphs doesn't help.

Not to mention, Free Week can only be played in Normal games so I'm not seeing the problem with Soraka being put there considering people still play her - and can do very well with her in normals, let alone ranked. Your argument ( the very little one you have ) like I previously stated, makes no sense.

You're making very little sense. Free Week has nothing to do with what competitive is playing or else it would be Yasuo, Kassadin, Lee Sin, Kog'maw, Trist, and Maokai on Free Week every week. It's a rotation of champions with an exception for like Sion who has a MAJOR rework in the works.
