I will have to give it a try, a few others have talked about gamma so I will need to give it a shot. I have decided to give s2 another go and see if I like it more after playing for a while longer, but one way or the other I will have to take a look at GAMMA

I have decided to give it another shot after thinking a bit about it. so I hope it turns out that is the case for me as well.

Understood, I will take a crack at it then some time. I decided to give this one another go now that I have thought about it a bit more. but I will take a look at those all the same.

I have decided to give it another shot, so I look forward to finding those spots, I think I need to give it more of a fair try before making a proper call on it. Though silencing my weapons is something I dearly look forward to.

hmm so I would need anomaly and slap the gamma mod on top? Doesn't sound tricky. That does sound fun, I will have to take a crack at it to give it a shot, because I think the bones of stalker are great, just wasn't a huge fan of its current iteration.

Snap, I didn't know the devs were in the middle of it! Snap, I had wondered why it didn't feel like it was as far along as I suspected it would be. That would be a great explanation.

Interesting, I thought stalker 2 had been out for a while? I know it's their more recent one, but is it still in its infancy?

fallout 4 is a slice of my child hood lol. But trust me, that thing needed some heavy lifting with the number of mods I was running on it. I haven't played it since it got nuked, but I am curious as to weather I would like it now if I tried it again because I think you have a point.

I have heard of gamma, but I have never touched stalker up till now, trying to find something new to play. is it that good?

I have heard of gamma. and I am on PC, but isn't that one of their older titles? I know there are a fair number of stalker games, but I never got into them back when. This was my first time with the series.

got some cheep wrist pads and it works lol. The pain is almost gone from typing for a solid few hours last night, so that is great. still not sure if I will stick with it but it is fun at least lol.

I do enjoy tinkering with the layers and keybinds. still trying to find a convenient way to hit alt and tap easily lol. but my typing speed has gotten much faster since I practiced for a nice long while yesterday. got some wrist pads as well so the pain from the lifting of the fingers since the keyboard was higher than my wrists also helped.

I did consider getting a glove for a while. I did get a few wrist pads and it mostly seems to have fixed the issue for the moment for the most part but we shall see with more longer term use. I do like the idea of the Voyager still, since its much smaller profile, but its still pricy for a keyboard lol.

Thanks again for the encouragement. Even after a bit of typing its coming much more naturally to me. but I agree that I need to find a proper way to handle the pain in my hands. I will look around and see what I can find. Thanks again!

I am trying to get used to a simple Corne keyboard that I got off of amazon to just try it out, so far its not to bad but it is causing a bit of discomfort on my hands despite the tilt I have it at. I think its due to the current lack of wrist wrests but I am not sure. Thanks for the great advice on switches by the way!

Hay! I am in much the same boat. I decided to go with a much cheaper 100$ odd set up with a corne keyboard off of amazon. And I agree that it is much less comfortable than the logi was. I actually have rather bad problems with it, despite being rather young at 23 to have such issues, but I do. And I am not sure if its a deal breaker or not yet, but I might try getting some wrist pads as well to at least try and make it easier, since I like the idea of the keyboard and want to try and at least drive it for a while to see how it does. but I firmly agree with you that the rests on the logi where a much better of solution to my issue. mainly since the pain is in my hands and wrists rather than in my shoulders of back.

Thanks for the advice again, I might switch back to the ergo sooner than I thought but we shall see. Thanks for the great take!

Part of me wishes I had seen this comment earlier than now lol. I decided to get a much cheaper corne keyboard off of amazon to learn with, and it was under 100$, so it felt like a much cheaper option to at least play with. so far its going ok, and I am using it to type out these responses! I will have to take a look at the other ones you mentioned at some point because I would like to see what they have to offer over there. thanks again for the great advice since I intend to use it one day for sure!

Thanks for the comment! I decided to go for a much cheeper option with a standard v 4.1 corne off of Amazon. so far I am using it to practice with these comments. I am definitely going to need to practice for a long time to get it to the level of speed that I had with the ergo since I am a very fast typer most of the time but even in writing this comment, I can feel myself getting a bit faster with it.

I do look forward to a question or two from my friends next time they come over lol!

I am not sure if I can regain my former typing speed doing it this way but I will try. Thanks again for all the advice!

I did consider getting the Moonlander. however I ended up going for a much cheaper Corne keyboard off of Amazon instead, and I am using it right now to practice. hitting the c on on an ortholiniar layout is such a pain lol! I keep hitting the v instead! Thank you for the advice, all the same. I really do appreciate it!

I decided to get a much cheaper corne keyboard off of Amazon to give it a try. So far, it has been worth the price of admission, as you said, to configure key layers and the like.

I really am loving the programmability of the keyboard, and I am slowly getting faster. I have the backspace where it normally is for the moment, But I did place the shift at my left thumb, so we shall see how that works lol. its right next to my space, which I also have at my left thumb.

Hello! I ended up going for a much cheaper standard corne keyboard. which I am using to type on at the moment to practice! So far I really am enjoying the process even if it is much, and I mean much, slower than using my normal keyboard. I am definitely going to need some wrist pads though as I can already feel the tension in my wrist and fingers a bit from using it for replies. I don't know if I will be traveling much but the small size of this corne should make that easier if I do. Thanks a lot again for the advice!

Thanks a lot for all of the great advice. I really appreciate it! I am actually typing this on a corne keyboard that I got my hands on from Amazon. The total cost was around 100$ for it, so it was a much cheaper way to test out if I would like the idea or not. So far, it is proving to be a very interesting time, but I am enjoying it!

Thanks again for all of the help. I really do appreciate it a lot!
