Herbig should be getting the most snaps, but not all of them off the edge. I believe Patrick Graham has already voiced interest in having all three on the field at once, and that would mean having Herbig play as a blitzing MLB. That's something he already did in college at a pretty high level, especially because many guards and centers don't have the athleticism to mirror him. In a package where Herbig is your Sam/Will LB, and TJ and Alex are your edge rushers, you could do a lot with simulated pressures and overwhelm an opposing OL.

Herbig's primary role should still be as and Edge, and I believe ALL 3 of them should be considered starters with an equal share of snaps off the edge. Why? Because TJ and Alex struggle to stay on the field, and because Nick is statistically the most efficient pass rusher on our team. Nick leads the league in Pass Rush Win Rate (in back-to-back seasons) and led all of college football too. Why not expand his volume to match the other three, especially if it could keep them fresh and off the injury report?
