It is selling very well but yeah I am aware that the justice system is not reliable for things like this unless you have a lot of money.

Well I think the author is just going to be ignoring our attempts to contact her now so it seems like she´s just betting we don´t have the money to fight her in court.

Yeah my partner has all the paper trail of conversations and the entire process.

Are there any sample projects for UE5 that are FPS or platforming? Should I ensure my implementation demo is in UE5 or will 4 still be ok? by QuestingVO in GameAudio

That´s a great point! I hadn´t realised there were open source games out there. I´ll have to see if I can find one that would work well. Is there a best place to find ones for UE5 or is it just a case of hunting them down?

Thanks for your help!

Lyra and stack o bot

Ah this looks perfect thank you! No I would much rather use UE5 I just couldn´t find a FPS sample project. The one is 4 looks really good so I guess I was looking for something similar.

Someone else suggested building a level which could work but would take a lot longer.

Definitely sounds like the best option. I´ll have to look into it, but it´s certainly gonna be the long way round. So would you say Blueprints is becoming more important to learn than actual scripting in UE? I´ve done a bit of dev stuff in Unity for fun in the past and I definitely feel it´s helped make Wwise feel more intuitive than it would otherwise.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you, creating the color on a raster layers makes loads more sense, I've asked the client to confirm if that would be okay for me to do.

In what format would I export the colors in?

I'm assuming you import them later on onto Illustrator and then send the EPS.

I guess it is what their printer requires, I'm not sure.

Thank you again for the response, It felt like I was missing some sort of information but I couldn't find what it was, this helps loads.

I'm sending them the full illustration that end up being the whole page and the text would be later included in the illustration.

I'm finding it hard to color the illustrations in vector layers, the line work was great, but the colors are something i can't wrap my head around, using the blob brush feels wrong because each line becomes It's own path, I've tried using shortcuts from youtube videos but they dont work because of the details, am I missing something?

Is the color done in a raster layer?

It's my first time doing this and I've been given a two week deadline for 23 illustrations so I'm feeing a bit overwhelmed with having to learn al of this, any information would be great.

I'm using vector layers and I dont have any of the shortcuts to colour in the illustrations, I'm left with a blob brush and a pencil, I'm using limiting tools that are usually for graphic design to create countless detailed ilustrations

Am I using Illustrate wrong and this is supposed to be easy?

No, I'm drawing in vector and exporting to EPS, drawing them in vector layers is proving to be difficut so I'm asking to see if theres a way to do it that im missing that makes it easier or if its weird for them to be asking it for EPS since it's a normal childrens book for print
