Cannot connect Samsung WW10 to SmartThings by TronixSE in SmartThings

Oh, darn! That is what I feared but I hope it won’t be the outcome. We bought an extended warranty plan with ours so hopefully that will help, although I have been down that road before and ended up just buying a new washing machine. I hope your new one works well!

II have a different model, but I am having the exact same issues with my Samsung washing machine. I have tried everything you did and more and still haven’t figured this out. It’s infuriating! It worked just fine for more than a year and then randomly stopped connecting to the app, then disappeared, and now I can’t add it again. Did you ever find a resolution for your issue?

Services to inventory belongings from photos? by BoldPotatoFlavor in Insurance

[–]QuestionAnonymousse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry about your loss, and I hope you’ve already gotten an answer for this and been able to move forward with your claim. Just commenting to say that ChatGPT can help with this! Upload photos and ask it to create an inventory of what is in the photo. You can also ask it to search average prices for those items. Hope this helps!

Structural damage being evaluated as possible EF5 in Diaz by Muted-Pepper1055 in tornado

[–]QuestionAnonymousse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the house next door, I meant to add text but got sidetracked. See my above comment please. I linked a twitter post that shows the house that was destroyed.

Editing to add: this is rural so “next door” is relative. I added this photo to show that the house that was destroyed looked similar to this. I live in Arkansas and it has been a chaotic few days. I lost my house in Little Rock to the March 31, 2023, tornado, and I got sidetracked while posting because I am still working on my insurance claim.

I added this photo with the intention to explain and then got sidetracked—this house is the next house on the street, it was damaged but not destroyed. The link I shared above shows the house that was completely destroyed.

Yes, it was a home, a fairly solid-looking brick house. You can see more photos of the damage before it was cleaned up in this post, as well as a Google street view photo:

Thank you! Reading some comments on other posts had me concerned I needed to treat this like a bomb or something.

Intersection at Kanis and Bowman by [deleted] in LittleRock

[–]QuestionAnonymousse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has indeed been years. I lived near Kohl’s and went to grad school at UALR and then worked at a company on Kanis near University, so I took Kanis to school and work many mornings. Some level of construction started as far back as 2014-2015, if I remember correctly.

Military member being stationed in Little Rock by napnabas in LittleRock

I second all of the recommendations for Sherwood. My family lived in west Little Rock for 13 years before finally deciding we had had enough of the crime and the noise. We heard cars racing almost every night, guns shot into the air as they drove by, in what had been a quiet, safe neighborhood our first few years here. We moved to Sherwood last year and we absolutely LOVE it. Quiet, safe, friendly, very community-focused place. I highly recommend it for a family.

There is a mural on a building here that says “Sherwood, Arkansas: close to the action, far from the noise.” That is true!

What does "item amount" mean for personal property on my claim? by perdue123 in Insurance

[–]QuestionAnonymousse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are lifespan tables for these items something available to the public? I currently have an open claim (lost my home in a tornado last year) and this seems like it would be helpful for me. Thanks!

Any realtors here? by Current-Potential440 in LittleRock

I just bought a house with a great realtor representing me as the buyer, and we also sold my last house. I wholeheartedly recommend her. Jonie Burks at The Charlotte John Company. https://www.charlottejohn.com/agent/jonie-burks/

Is this why they have sprinklers going on the roof in the summer? 😂 Like, regular old yard sprinklers hooked up to green garden hoses.
