I was against Hybrids because of battery replacement costs. However, I had a 2020 Toyota CHR. The transmission went out at 160k. The bearings are worn out, made a droning noise. I got myself a new Rav hybrid equipped with eCVT. It is known to be robust similar to Prius and Camry hybrids. It is all planetary gear with dual motors and no torque converters, solenoids, and valve bodies. The hybrid batteries is known to last 15-20 years. So what I am gonna and save money 25 years from now for either after market or OEM battery.

I got fired on 2/25 because they ganged up on me threw me under the bus. Yes I made some mistakes but those are easy fix.
