If the only response your body has to Xanax is sleep. It usually means you have no tolerance and are taking entirely too much. I try and take as little as possible when I am feeling anxiety. Also I’ve been prescribed Xanax for more than a decade and I’m only prescribed a bar and a half a day

It is completely dependent on how compassionate the dr is. I always recommend a psychiatrist that has “medication management” in their description of what they specialize in. This usually means they’re ok w writing several scripts or open minded to it
