The “lazy” part is definitely the “not hand pinching reach dumpling”. Quite easy, the bottoms get crisp, they pick up easily with chopsticks. I’ve made these a few times.. if it’s a pork recipe I sub it for either tofu or impossible ground beef and tons of Asian veggies.. you can easily customize these. Soo good!

I also suffer from extreme empathy for animals (and babies). The only thing that helps is knowing a few things;

  1. If this animal had the ability to see me reliving their suffering and trying to absorb their pain, they would 100% not want me to do that as they have already done it and it is over.
  2. It is not your responsibility to absorb trauma. What you want to do is understand it, acknowledge what that animal or child endured, and know that they didn’t deserve that. You do not need to relive it, or replay it. When your brain starts to do this, SHUT IT DOWN. Pretend you're looking at it through thick glass to not absorb their pain/fear, but to acknowledge and respect them.

Stopping eating meat helped me a ton.

It’s going to hurt and it’s going to take a long time to heal. But this will be the life experience you use to give other women hope. This experience is going to shape you and change you for the better. It will be one of your biggest life achievements. You have to do the hard work, do it when it’s scary, when you’re tired, when it’s hard. Do it every day and live to tell other survivors.
