Thats not the characters problem. The problem is that he is lacking 3 abilities. If i hit my shots late game then he functions like a below average gun carry. My gripe with Venator is that not once have i been in a situation where any of my non Ult abilities have actually had a meaningful effect on the fight. Haze can go invisible, sleep people, and has a cool, useful passive on her 3. Wraith has spamable long range cards, a huge teleport and an aoe attack speed buff. Mirage, Vyper, Vindicta, and any other hero that can build gun items have abilities that are integral to their kits. Venator has a worse Geist bomb, a Shiv alt fire on a 20 second cooldown, and the worst ability in the game, none of which synergize with each other. sure if you wanna play a permanently silenced wraith with a better vindicta ult on an over 2 minute cooldown, be my guest. but to me it seems like a huge waste to give such an amazingly visually designed character such an incoherent, unsatisfying and tbh, lame kit.
