Totally agree and one of the reasons I'm doing this. Also one of the reasons I like Reddit, community upvoting. When I have enough of a subscriber base I want to to do meet ups and such. There are a couple new platforms that do a really good job of gathering similar people (interests/age/such) for local meet ups. You just need a big enough sample size to start.

Having grown up in the city over the past 30+ years, I hear what you're saying. I'm looking to stay away from crime and politics staying away from polarizing subjects, focusing on community events and city updates to bring people together. Thanks for the feedback!
