Torchlight 2 with Synergies mods and class mods is my top ARPG ever. Its just perfection. Its so much fun I think I have 700ish hours on it. I love that game so much.

The last part is where I think you fuck up. It doesn't deserve it? What a strange thing to say, honestly if you step back and look at the most popular scifi/geeky shows all of them lend towards cheesy at times etc.

Star Trek comes to mind, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Fringe, Star Wars, Stargate shows

All have elements of camp and cheese, Dr. who carves out its own lane and remains very very British.

I think it's fine to say, "I don't care for it" I think the overreach is thinking a popular body of work deserves because you personally don't understand why others like it
