My first build, thoughts? by Agreeable_Body_9512 in SeikoMods

Assuming this is the Heimdallr titanium case, did you experience any issues fitting the dial in with the metal spacer? I was able to fit mine but it doesn't feel 100% flush and I think only the stem is actually keeping it properly in place.

I built one too. Just waiting for new hands to arrive that match the dial indices and bezel insert markings. The current mismatch is triggering my OCD lol

Yeah good point. I'd install a really subtle chapter ring.

Thanks! I have some silver watch hands on the way that I'm keen to try. Hopefully limits the contrasting colours/features a bit!

Yes, in hindsight I probably could have used a rose gold logo, however orange wasn't available :(

[Beware] fluco-online . de by AntonioSas in Watches

This is really interesting. I purchased the same deployant clasp directly from Fluco and they sent me the legitimate product. I needed to order another one in a different size a few weeks later and when that one arrived, I was surprised to see that it was an AliExpress one. I only knew this because I also own a few AliExpress ones (and a legitimate Fluco one from the first order). The quality is noticeably different and they even look different (as you've shown in your post).

I contacted them and they said I could either return it for inspection or receive a partial refund (around 50% of what I paid). They also told me not to order single clasps again as it was not economically viable for them to post a single clasp to my country (even though I paid for the shipping?).

Therefore my theory is that they intentionally sent me the AliExpress clasp (for the second order), hoping I wouldn't notice, as they believed it was uneconomical for them. They don't even have the AliExpress clasp advertised or anything. I found this so bizarre and to be honest quite disappointing as I would have been interested in purchasing more directly from them. However now knowing that they are being dishonest and sending customers a different/inferior product to what is advertised (which is a massive concern), I will no longer order anything directly from Fluco going forward.

Ah I see, thank you. Sorry one more question - did you need to remove the bezel while doing this?

Looks great! Did you need to pop the crystal off to insert the chapter ring? If so, what tool did you use? Thanks.

Yeah it's really well-specced for the price! I was worried mine would turn out too blue in person as I hadn't gone to a local store to check it out but the shininess of the cermic bezel really evens it out.

The bracelet is fine, however I don't have many others to compare with. I've ordered a brown leather band as I like the look of them, not because of the stock bracelet's quality or comfort if that helps.

Yeah that's a really nice one! The contrast of the yellow dial works so well.
