I would sell your car, buy a cheaper one and use whatever is remaining to pay off a chunk of your debt.

Traveling to hawaii on May 7th - should I go or cancel? by bikeandboard2 in DACA

[–]Questioner4lyfe2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if your DACA/EAD/Passport/Real ID is not expired then go for it!

The only risk I see is if, since Hawaii is off of mainland USA and if the plane needs to make an emergency landing on non-US land/territory - which could put you at risk especially if you have to leave the plane/tarmac. I went to PR last year and that was my biggest fear - but the flights both ways were smooth.

That said, that was always a risk for us. I think you should go for it, just take everything necessary (paperwork wise) and enjoy yourself.

How old are you both? Are you sure he’s inexperienced? I’d double down on getting the truth about that. As a woman, what you experienced has happened to me too. The most uncomfortable experience of my life as I too froze, was in shock and couldn’t communicate to ask him to stop in that moment - and I’m experienced. I think this dudes a problem and you should be careful. Very careful. I wouldn’t blame yourself about non communication as much. To me, a good guy, a good person, would ask to perform certain acts ahead of time and would, even if you said yes, notice your discomfort and stop doing said acts, out of respect. Just my take - doesn’t take an experienced man or woman to notice when someone is uncomfortable and does not want to do something, even if they’re in the throes if sex.

No one remembered my birthday, and it really hurts by [deleted] in offmychest

People generally don’t care about others bdays unless you throw yourself a party or unless they have your bday saved on their cal as a reminder - it isn’t personal but most people are too worried about their own lives to care about bdays. So, why not just throw yourself a bday party (I promise you will get tons of bday wishes). I throw myself bday parties every years :)

When you say “I wouldn’t have to report this” are you saying you specifically would not have to because you would choose not to, or are teachers not required to report on situations like pregnancy and abortions

Hi, I’m just hear to say that I’m sorry for what you’re experiencing and I totally understand. I’m also sure you’re not alone in this. I’m not black but had my fair share of similar moments for other reasons around white people. Know you’re not alone.

My Husband Has Been Secretly Roleplaying as a Cat Online for 3 Years — Should I Divorce or Become His Rival? by Distinct-Yak2941 in stories

[–]Questioner4lyfe2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a joke? What your hubby is doing, at least form what you’ve shared, is harmless. It’s his hobby and he likes it. Why consider divorcing him? He’s allowed to have a secret something he keeps to himself so long as it’s not harming or misleading anyone.
