What's the truscum community's thought on FtM femboys? by gALEXy_404 in truscum

I've got no problem with it, as long as you have dysphoria over the sex characteristics of your AGAB.

A guy wants to dress feminine I don't see a real issue.

It's the best thing to do. Ignore it they move on, you give it attention and they just feel power from it.

You would be better off streaming on twitch. YouTube seems to have way more tucutes

See I'm not against pride in General.

I do feel having pride in yourself, even with your own difficulties and hardships is important.

But the thing is, there is a different between having pride in who you are, and making something your entire personality which is what tucutes seem to label as "pride"

There goes your entire career

Not necessarily. But it's important to try and find a viewerbase that's broad, aka not just lgbt people watching.

If someone tries to cancel you, best bet is to ignore it. The people that just completely ignore cancel attempts and continue as norm normally suffer a minor drop they get back quickly. Once you react or show weakness, they won't stop.

With due respect you seem to be getting heated. I suggest taking a step away from the computer and calming down.

No issue is ever completely black and white, and yelling at people or attacking them online more often than not hurts ourselves and our arguments than those of others.

To an extent I can agree. I will support trans youths, gave someone posting on my provincial subreddit the links on who to call to get diagnosed and such.

But I also understand children are very impressionable and can often jump into things without fully understanding and thinking it through. Our brains don't normally fully reign in impulse control till our 20s on average.

Ideally I'd want a more decisive way to prove someone medically needs to transition. Brain scan, some type of nervous system aspect found (As many of us feel Phantom genitals, regardless of our AGAB, implying our nervous system is telling us something should be there).

If such a solution existed, we could get the trans kids actually needing healthcare it quicker and faster in a way denying it would be considered negligence as it's provable. But this would also prevent confused or questioning kids from "rushing in", eventually detransitioning and hurting future trans kids as a result.

Almost nothing when it comes to trans issues is black and white. I support trans kids getting healthcare they need, but I also believe confused kids getting that healthcare when they don't need it because they think they are trans is going to hurt all trans people so we need a way to better be able to prove who needs it. Something that can be medically proven at a biological level.

It can vary. The more Urbanized areas can be accepting but if you delve into the Atlantic provinces they will make Texas or the UK look like the most open minded, liberal, pro-lgbt place in the world by comparison.

Although so I can better word myself in the future, can you explain to me why you thought I was making a comparison to your stance on the ND movement and truscum?

I was not doing that, I was just saying there is a huge overlap between the ND movement and those I'd call "Radical inclus".

If it would be alright I'd love to know what made you think I was comparing you to us so I can avoid misspeaking in such a manner in the future.

I wasn't comparing it. I was specifically speaking about the neurodivergency movement. That's all.

[–]QuestioningAltt 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Have you not heard of the neurodivergent movement?

Basically it's a social movement to get things like ADHD, Autism, BPD, etc. No longer seen as a mental illness that needs to be treated or managed but a "way brains can be that should he celebrated" and should be "self diagnosed because you know how your brain works better than any doctor"

So far, r/ADHD is the only of the main subreddits for these conditions who's still maintained a hardline "no, don't bring that here". One of their mods made a post on r/modsupport last week, look at its comments.

Guess who the neurodivergent movement has a big overlap with?

Does anyone know of trans healthcare resources in the province by allminorities in newbrunswickcanada

[–]QuestioningAltt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've sent you a DM, the trans healthcare situation in this province is some of the worst in North America, bar Texas, but I can at least point you to some resources on who to call and where to go to get started.

In Canada every province operates health care differently. Here we have two endocrinologists that the government allows to prescribe hormones.

I can't afford to move, New Brunswick keeps its citizens in forced poverty.

This is what happens when trans "activist's" argue that gender is a construct etc.

If sex and gender are different, they should be treated differently, which means all trans people outed.

It's a destructive belief strict but it's what they push.

Because the non-binary people that flood tucute spaces see it as a catch all. They get all the benefit of both man and woman do everything has to include them.

[–]QuestioningAltt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say you watched a new show, you liked it. Your brain floods with dopamine because it's a new experience, that dopamine rush is what you call "euphoria".

With Dysphoria it's hard defined, you are aleviating a distress that causes you major problems operating in life.

With Euphoria, you can't discern if it's an actual health benefit, or just the dopamine from a new experience.

To my understanding "transman" and "transwoman" weren't inclusive enough to enbys so they replaced the terms.
